Cute! I loved watching (reading...whatever) Keith perform acts he would be hesitant to do if it wasn’t for the unleashing of his instincts. I’m not a Shiro-Keith shipper, but I can still appreciate the skill involved in writing this. Truthfully I sort of just reimagined this idea with a more platonic relationship, but you definitely did well bringing across your points and entertaining the readers (well me at least). I hope you continue writing, you’ve got talent. Great job!

First of all, this was extremely cute and fluffly and sweet and I just loved the crap out of this! ️ I actually had to stop reading at certain points because it was too cute!
Secondly, I'm wondering why this is rated M? There's no smut scenes. The only thing even close to smut was when they were in the shower, but even then. It can be rated T and be alright. Unless you plan on doing a smut scene? owo
Thirdly, I'd definitely love a chapter about why Keith was so aggressive to Allura more than anyone. I mean, yeah, he was aggressive with everyone else, but it seemed like Allura got the harsher end (which was fine with me). The scene where they tried getting him in the pod broke my heart btw, and I had a mild (very mild) panic attack when she grabbed his throat. I just... I'd love more of this pretty please! QuQ

This was incredibly cute. As I read, I felt more and more impatient for the next step of the story, maybe 'phase two' you would call it. But when Keith is suddenly Keith again and having that interchange with Shiro where he says, "You called me kitten. You bathed me and brushed my hair. Do we need to talk?" it was all worth it. I loved that scene and the ending. Another favorite line is, "I like it here. Shiro likes me here." Soooo cuuuuute!

At first, I was like /dude/, this is a monster of a one-shot, and I'd debated whether or not to read it /now/, but I decided to invest the time now instead of, like, three days from now and I'm just, so happy. Feral!Keith is just, so precious (and vicious but that's beside the point).

I had this headcanon the whole time I was reading-and I have no clue if this was what you were intending or not-where the only reason why Keith was all cuddly with Shiro and not anyone else was because Keith was in love and pining for Shiro before this mess started, so his instincts sort of labelled him as a (potential) mate. This is why (1) when he was gone he was panicking/scared/angry/lashing out because Shiro makes him feel safe, (2) he wouldn't let Shiro out of sight because Keith's got this possessive, overwhelming thought of "MINE", (3) he wouldn't let anyone he viewed as a competitor for Shiro's affection, i.e. Allura, Lance, and Hunk anywhere near him without showing his aggression in some form (Pidge and Coran don't count. Pidge because she's really young compared to Shiro ((a "kit" if you will)) and anything else is nasty in my humble opinion, and Coran because he's too old for our beloved 6 y/o and Shiro already has developed family relationships with the two of them), (4) when the effects wore off, Keith was quick to try and run off (presumably out of fear of being rejected), but even quicker to accept Shiro's awkward confession and affection.

My point is, I was expecting feral!Keith to jump Shiro's bones at some point.
