Yay! Redhead is back! And is that romance in the air my [Spider Tingle] is "sensing" I presume? Umu! This story just got even better that before. I guess you could say it... [Evolved!] like a Pokémon or any other monster in the Re: Monster universe. Umu! The fact that You is so concerned with Redhead's wellbeing enough to check up on her health as well as her skill and ability as well as level progress on top of kissing her is telling indeed. It's only natural. It's a biological imperative. I wonder what this Rou's babies will look like and what traits they'll adopt from him. Would be an interesting experiment for him to attempt. I say he should impregnate every other villain chick from each sentient species as an experiment to see what kind on scions he will get as their progenitor. Would be interesting to see if any of them will inherit his Absorption: Consumption skill or different variations of it like the ones seen in "That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime".

Great story. Enjoyed this 1st chapter. My only 2 questions are first, how come he didn't take the slave/servant cat girl, Maria, with him after her ownership transferred to him after his mother's death? With how they were reacting to each other one would think they have at least some affection for each other. They've even been relatively intimate with each other already. He even thought she was attractive and kawai. That and she already seen him naked and pretty much taught and gave him baths ontop of raising him. If anything they're like relatives or she's like his babysitter or adoptive mother.

My second question is how come "Escape" is still level 1 after Ruo "escaped" the Demon Spider and her spiderweb trap? Surely the fact that he even escaped that trap should warrant at least one "level up" right? That part confused me is all.

Other than that, it's interesting you Ruo is going about things differently - or rather from the human side of things - now that he isn't a goblin. He even slayed a goblin too! I guess this makes him Goblin Slayer 2.0 lol!
