Kinda angsty, which isn't my cup of tea, but for a genre I don't usually read it was good.

To be fair that crazy song was just really really a sign of how far gone from reality Sierra is. Sure in the end of the season they act more buddy buddy but it seems more like Stockholm Syndrome than anything else looking back on it.

Hey! Man, I LOVE this fic! I mean, it's all so much well manage! Cody's anger towards Sierra, he's heart to heart with Gwen, even the whole backstory about his father's abuse! I don't care what everybody else says, I think that part was GREAT! Seriously, you make him look so dark... And the way you described it, I could totally related to him. The way he was feeling so angry, and sad, and alone, it make him look so mature and so rough! So not the Cody we are use to! And I like these kind of backstory for his kind of character because it makes me think that nobody it's exactly the way they act around. Even the sweetest, adorable, slightly awkard little nerd can have problems. Real, serious problems... That kind of situations is the most common thing these days, guys! And people just doesn't talk about it because they think no one is going to hear them, still they tried their best to stay happy despite everything. And that's admirable! Cody is admirable! This fic is admirable!... But, if I'm completely honest, maybe the story about Gwen's father was a little out off (It just felt like it was TOO convenient). Still, besides that, everything about this fic is perfect and you write beautifully! Honestly! I adore very single part of it! 3333

I actually have to disagree with random in that the backstory for Cody actually is necessary I feel because you aren't just trying to fix the Sierra problem, you are also getting him together with Gwen in a onedone story. If this was a multi-chapter epic, with the conclusion being GwenCody becoming a couple or if this was you starting your own World Tour fanfic from this point with GwenCody slowly becoming a couple as a side story, his abuse backstory would be unecessary but it is necessary in a one off story if we are to believe them suddenly dating I feel. The funny thing is, if they had toned down or removed the Cody obsession and kept her as a total drama fangirl with a strategic mind like they did initially I would really like Sierra as a character but I just find her annoying now. They almost saved her at the end of World Tour, when they scaled it back a touch but then ruined her again with that Camody nonsense in All Stars. Anyway I enjoyed this. I feel the only way Cody's story ends, is if he and Gwen become really good friends or they start dating. Despite occasionally kind of being friendish, they aren't really that close and it wont feel that Cody's story is ever truly complete unless that happens.

Hey man! This was a great little read! :D I love how you handled Gwen and Cody's heart to heart conversation! I also love their interactions with each other as well! Honestly, it's always a wonderful experience to find and read a well-executed Gwody fic! 8D

And seriously, I agree in your profile, we need more Gwody stories! There is potential there, and I really do think in the long run, they would make a sweet and fun couple. :)

Also, I don't blame Cody for raging on Sierra. Ugh, talk about obnoxious. XP

Awesome story, great one shot. It's great to see a Cody story during world tour, which you just don't see much of anymore. Seeing him explode at Sierra was great and his anger seemed totally believable. My only issue, and it's not a big one, is that I don't really find the whole "my father beats me" plot necessary. I feel Cody could have a perfectly normal home life and still be completely justified in his freak out.
Good story though, nice work.
