Aaaawww yes young Dick is ADORABLEEE!

Hi there! I can so see Dick fastening himself to Clark’s leg and Clark just being all “what is this child octopus doing?” while Bruce glares from the sidelines lol I thought this was a really great piece because it shows how protective Bruce is of Dick and his privacy. He wants to show him how to walk in society so he knows what to do and when but he also wants to keep the sharks in the media from saying nasty stuff about him. Great in theory but not in practice. Kinda can’t have your cake and eat it too here, Bruce.

How things start off so tense and hostile between Clark and Bruce but end with a thaw shows great character progression. It creates an arc. It takes us on a journey. It gives us a point to follow. They’re not bitter enemies here. Clark stepping up and protecting Dick during the attempted robbery scored points.

I gotta admit I laughed during his search for a place to run into Superman. Here he is in a big mansion and he can’t find a way to slip out and back in costume lol first world hero problems here! This could be a great crack!fic on it’s own. Clark looking for places to change but always being stopped or interrupted lol

It was the comic where they were distrustful of each other was an annual issue of Superman/Batman. forget which one. and it was their first time meeting each other in both personas. they do figure it out when the cruise they are on gets attacked by their evil dopplegangers and Bruce tries to sedate clark before not deadpool drops into assassinate Bruce. also kinda hard to id clark from highschool photos if he vibrates his chin.

Aaaah! Such a cool premise/plot, I love it! You did a little secret identity play without it feeling cliche or cringey, nice job. *applause*
Also, anything with little Dick and that hero worship scene is just so freakin cute, so thanks for that.

Oh ! It was adorable. Bruce being overprotective with Dick and misturstful with Clark, Dick relying on is gardian for his safety, Bruce caring for him, but staying cold in front of strangers, the fact and you can guess Bruce and Dick are close by the way they act… Everything was very in character and well executed.

The fact you adopt Clark's perspective while he don't know who is batman (unlike the reader) gave an interesting perspective to your text.

Everytime I read a fanfic where Bruce Wayne is a good dad I can't stop thinking : "DC, hired him/her ! He/She would do a much better job than your actual writers !"

Awww, Dick and Clark were so sweet in this! And Protective!Bruce? Gah! I couldn't get enough. Love, love, LOVE Bruce in that sort of role. It was neat to think of this as the first way of Bruce and Clark meeting. Fits them so well.

Any chance you'll do a bit of a sequel? Maybe Clark defending Bruce and Dick to another reporter who printed something derogatory, and Bruce overhearing - cause he came to confront the newspaper. I'd so read that!

Now they need a second meeting or reaction to finding out their respective identities.

What a great story! I would have loved to have seen this play out longer, even seeing Superman meet Dick as Robin later on. Good job!
