I really love this story! Please continue X3!

So just recently got into Sing after a couple friends recommended it. (Not disappointed in the least, Johnny's definitely a favorite though.)

Just happened upon this, and have to say I really enjoyed it. Read the whole thing in one go. I really did like the scenes with Johnny and Ash, especially with the car-washing scene and Ash taking back HER song.

And Meena really is a sweetheart, even if it is a 'tosser' like Mike.

All in all, awesome story. Can't wait to see what else you come up with.

It's happening! This chapter was SO worth the wait! I adore the banter you give the characters and how I can read it in their voices - you really captured them all beautifully! I'm so curious on what is happening with Mike and how that situation will play out. Meena really is such a gentle, sweet soul willing to help those even those who don't deserve it! I'm interested to see how the ballet dancer Sophie is going to play into this story as well and what will happen with that.

Oh, and Johnny and Ash of course. I had to go back to read the moment of a shirtless Johnny washing his car and Ash getting all hot and bothered, because seriously, who wouldn't? XD I'm so happy they worked it out and are going to sing together! The bit about Ash taking back that song was wonderful too - she shouldn't let all her baggage with Lance hold her back and I'm glad she's realizing how Johnny is nothing like Lance was and is letting her take charge like he never let her. Again, this story is beautiful and I cannot wait to read where this goes! Thank you for this wonderful update! 3

O! M! G! THIS IS AMAZING! I especially like the part where Johnny is washing his truck and Ash shows up. And then him and Meena talking on the phone about it later?! Pure genius! I love the story.

Just one quick question before going back to read: how did you find out that Johnny's father's name is Marcus Greystone? Because I've been looking for his name for quite a lot but I just found out about Big Daddy, didn't find anything about his real name or Johnny's surname.
Did you find it somewhere or you invented that for this story?

What happens next and when is the next chapter and will the rating change?

OMG! I was screaming and laughing like a crazy person during Ash and Johnny's part. XD It was hysterical to think of Ash just standing there completely stunned as Johnny's all shirtless, innocently washing his car not realizing the effect he has on her! Loved that! And Ash trying to talk and kept mentioning pecs, him being fine, etc. was sheer genius! Awesome dialogue right there!

Aside from the Johnny x Ash bits I can't get enough of, the other scenes with Meena finding Mike and him being homeless was written wonderfully. Mike's pride gets in the way so much and it's sad to see how he's pushing Meena away when all she wants to do is help. I hope he turns around and accepts her offer. I adore how you write Meena and Mike's interactions, especially how Meena is coming out of her shell and not letting Mike's biting words effect her as much as she would have when their journey began.

I can't wait to see where you take this! Great job as usual! :-)

How did Mike become homeless anyway? Was it because he wasted all that money he cheated out of those bear thugs?

AWWWWW! I loved this chapter! Especially Johnny and BD's interactions which are always wonderful to read. Love the line of Johnny perhaps burning his fingers since he is carrying a torch for her! Well done, loved every line of this new update. While I've never been a fan of OC's, yours come to life and are just so full of personality and charisma, I feel like they could be legit characters on the next movie! By far my favorite part was Ash and Johnny already kinda doing a duet even if neither knew about it - and while I'm still hurting for Johnny, it's nice to know Ash is opening up to the idea of singing with him! Love it and can't wait for more!

Aw, it's so disheartening to think about Johnny feeling put down by Ash. :-( He's just such a sweet soul, it tears me up but I'm sure Ash will change her mind in due time with the right coercion. ;-3 Great work on this chapter and I'm excited to see how Nana Noodleman's birthday celebration goes. Also, awesome work on the dialogue, everyone is so in-character and I just get so happy reading the conversations between Eddie and Buster - they're so funny! XD Great job and can't wait to read the next chapter!

This really feels like it could be a legit sequel. Everyone’s in-character, and the tone is very much like the movie. Well done. Can’t wait to see even more.

GAH! I love it! Johnny is just precious and awkward and I love it! I agree that Ash would be hung up on Lance for awhile but it's good to hear she's trying to move forward and perhaps get her inspiration from elsewhere. ;-3 I'm really enjoying your OC's and especially the "Gorge-illa" part lol. Keep it up and can't wait to read what happens next!
