I think Amara and Oberyn working together about the same goal has the potential to become very toxic and dangerous for House Uller. They are both dangerous on their own, but together ? Thinking House Uller's days are numbered.

Glad to see that Amara has realized that sometimes it is best to resist temptation and stay on one's path. She has learned a valuable lesson. And Oberyn has learned one too. He has now learned that his actions has consequences. Hopefully it's not to late to a fresh beginning.. ;-)

Ecstatic over the new chapter! I'm really looking forward to reading Amara and Oberyn come together to fight House Uller. Was happy to find out that Amara knows of Ka's betrayal as I was worried how much damage would occur if she didn't find out soon. Will anxiously await next chapter :)

That plot twistshe knows of the House Uller’s plans! Never expected her to know that after giving Ka her favour in public in the last chapter (Sneaky, sneaky Amara). I am a bit curious on how she obtained that information though. Is it through Obara or has she caught Ka talking about the plan? Hopefully you’ll write that up soon in the next chapters.

Now with Amara and Oberyn, thank the gods that they are already giving their marriage a chance. It only took them about 26 chapters to bridge the gap though . I ain’t complaining, but I need a bit of romance after that wait. Again, keep up the good work!

I'm sorry to point this out but...,what children? She's a stepmom to his kids, a role she has accepted gracefully and lovingly, even more so than he did his role as a parent. But I'm so glad you updated. And good on amara for putting him in his place. Can't wait for the next update.

I understand that Amara is feeling torn, but the defining characteristic throughout this fic was that she was level-headed and clever. Too often in fics, the women are portrayed as silly and reliant upon their husbands and Amara was a breath of fresh air. But with the last chapter especially I fear she has lost that uniqueness and has once again fallen into the cliche love triangle that prevails so often in fanfiction. I understand it brings drama to the story but love triangles rarely improve a story and here it doesn't even fit with the characters personality or motivations.
You have spent the entire fic building Amara up to be clever and determined - we know this is true with how she dealt with Elaria and the machinations of court. And yet, she would fall so easily for another man - and favour him him public! The Amara that you had written up to the last chapter would never have done something so brazen that did nothing but lower her reputation in court. She has been craving this approval from the people but throws it away for a man she is unsure she wants to be with? This does not sound level-headed or clever. You spent so much time telling us that Amara was different and that was why we supported her. Don't waste all of that character development now, although I fear it is too late.

Didn’t expect that twist with Ka, but I’m still not expecting Amara to just accept Oberyn’s sudden affection for her when he was a complete jerk to her the whole time. We ain’t jumping back to the ship that fastat least let him grovel for a little bit to win her.
