Megami Elric chapter 4 . 12/29/2017
Before I start my review, this is Kuro-tan account, already had it for some time now, just pretty lazy to use it until I read your comment. If you want to PM, well this is it.
Sorry If my English bad, English is not my first nor is my 2nd language. So, the plot is thicken? what with theinterdimensional criminal and his partner" And I want to comment on one of your review? Flight is one of the most basic spells? Really? That may be true in the original and A's, we could see all the mage flying around easily, and Nanoha get it in her first time learning it.
But Strikers make it clear that flight spell are pretty hard, and most mage are stuck in the ground, I mean, from the cast of strikers, aside from the original cast the only people flying are from the enemy side, Subaru used her inherent skill to stay in sky and Caro with her dragon.
And lets' not talk about Vivid, Force, or Vivid strike
So yeah, flight is pretty hard for most mage aside from the original cast mage. And Daphne as Harry love interest? Why not :D
LtdFox chapter 4 . 10/2/2017
Let's see... HP/Nanoha crossover...

Now the premise... is new and most importantly, it's AWESOME!
I haven't seen this crossover done quite this way before, and I like it already. You seem to have a decent grasp of most of the pertinent facts in regards to Nanohaverse and HPverse both, though I admit more intimate knowledge of the former. I haven't kept up with all the HP information outside the main books, so if something from the extra material comes up, I won't know. Nanoha, on the other hand, I've followed very closely through the years, and though it gets some flak, I really like Vivid for how much it expands our background worldbuilding, especially in regards to ancient Belka. I wonder how old Vivio is here, actually. This seems to be set some time after Strikers, so probably before the start of Vivid?

Another reason to like Vivid is showcases quite well by the fact, that despite the main cast sticking to mostly two similar magic systems, there exists quite a variety of others as well. And the witchcraft shown in Vivid definitely seems closer to HP-style magic than the standard Nanoha fare, so that's a nice tie-in, good work there. No other to my knowledge has yet picked up that connection in fic writing. It also gives a nice rebuttal to those opinions that TSAB never recognizes other types of magic. Heck, even the various substyles within the Mid-Childan and Belkan magics can be very varied, as shown through the several magic martial arts, some of which are plenty far removed from standard mid casting.

I'm really liking the interplay between the different magic systems present thus far, and both sides are being presented quite realistically without bashing. Also interesting that the ICW knows about TSAB, but as a small splinter group. I wonder what they think this group does, with a name like it? Do they essentially think that TSAB is a small group comprising mostly of elite Auror-equivalents who mainly concern themselves with making sure no one blows holes in dimensions with dangerous magical artifacts?

As to your remark about the abilities of mages, it's definitely true that TSAB mages tend to get a more well-rounded education compared to most wizards. Of course there is the greater teaching of scientific subjects, but physical training seems also a lot more present in their school system, to say nothing of their martial artists and actual military training. And we know from StrikerS and the mangas that TSAB's military training is pretty thorough, since they also drill a lot of non-magical skills and non-device use of magic in a pinch.

As for pure ability, well, not largely going to go into VS stuff here, so I'll just summarize a few pertinent facts. TSAB mages can have, while synced up with their devices, supersonic to hypersonic reaction speeds, all-around situation awareness running parallel thoughstreams and absurd levels of durability and enviromental survivability with Barrier Jackets. Their offensive output doesn't even need to be mentioned, but it's important to note that basically all their spells can switch between lethal and non-lethal at will. For mobility, flight is actually pretty rare. You basically need to be at least a B-rank mage to even have a prayer, and even then not everyone can easily do it, though it can apparently be learned with difficulty once you're strong enough. They do have some pretty nice ground-based options, though. Those fast-movement spells are fast.

Hp-verse, though, dominates nearly every other known magic system in versatility. Their spells may not be universally flashy, or even physically move to target very fast, but their magic can do pretty much anything with a proper spell, and they never seem to have any running out of power problems either, so the spells are super efficient and low-cost for what they do. If you have to pick a magic system to help with utility and daily life, HP magic is definitely the way to go.

Finally, our Stephen King reference girl. Really digging her, wonder what the story of that intelligent device is, to end up there after declared MIA by TSAB? I'm eager to find out, at any rate.

Keep up the good work!
alphagates chapter 4 . 8/31/2017
Good story, I can't wait for more, and yes tsab ace could destroy any wizard, they only need to be wary of curses like the death curse, and I'm pretty sure a shield could block it. Also where is Vivio? who is her relationship with Hermione? had she been in earth? may some reincarnations show up later (a couple of them had already appeared in vivid)? and in that note is ixy awake?
DschingisKhan chapter 4 . 8/30/2017
Well, this is a twist; I'm not sure I've seen a plot quite like this. I'll be pleased and amused if this ends with Hermione 'befriending' a wife- she did learn from the best in the business, after all!
Thermidor606 chapter 4 . 8/25/2017
This is an interesting one, and I like how you've setup the world along with the characters.
Kuro-tan chapter 4 . 8/25/2017
Before I start my review, I already review this chapter through my account (Megami Elric) with app, but its already 2 days now, it hasn't appeared so I just post it like usual.
I also pm you but don't know if you got it or not.

Sorry If my English bad, English is not my first nor its my 2nd language.

So, the plot is thicken? what with the " interdimensional criminal and his partner".

And I want to comment on one of your reviewer?
Flight is one of the most basic spells? Really?
That may be true in the original and A's, we could see all the mage flying around easily, and Nanoha get it in her first time learning it.
But Strikers make it clear that flight spell are pretty hard,
and most mage are stuck in the ground, I mean, from the cast of strikers, aside from the original cast the only people flying are from the enemy side, Subaru used her inherent skill to stay in sky and Caro with her dragon.
There are more Ground Force members who couldn't fly than Navy members or Enforcers who could fly.
And lets' not talk about Vivid, Force, or Vivid strike
So yeah, flight is pretty hard for most mage aside from the original cast mage.

And Daphne as Harry love interest? Why not :D
balot55 chapter 4 . 8/24/2017
Very nice, keep it up. Since Vivio is in it, does this fanfic occur between StrikerS and ViVid? Btw, don't lose motivation because of other reviews. Flight in the Nanoha-verse is not common. It is a rare ability despite all main characters able to do it. Teana, Vivio, and Subaru cannot fly at all.
Echo0100 chapter 4 . 8/22/2017
I don't really see why you made it so Hermione couldn't fly, it is one of the most basic spells in the Nanohaverse, even the worst mages can use it. If Hermione can't even use the flight spell then how can she use anything above a protection or shooter spell? I mean, she even has her own device to handle the calculations for her, this isn't some new magic that has never been studied before, this is magic that literally every Mage knows how to do.

It honestly feels like you made it so she couldn't fly so she would have to use a broom or something. You gave no logical reason for her not being able to fly besides her not being able to do so. Is her magic sealed? Is she just too weak to use Nanoha magic? Give a decent reason beyond "Nope, can't fly, deal with it." it feels so damn lazy.

I'll be honest, a good portion of the people going to be reading this story are people who are in it for the Nanoha magic, not the Harry Potter crap, if they wanted that there are plenty of longer and more developed stories out there for them to read. If you want people to actually read this over what already exists your going to have to make it worth reading, not a bland rehash of of canon with a Nanoha sticker slapped on the cover. You have to embrace the Nanoha aspect of this and not hide it behind Harry Potter.

Honestly, it's not that I don't like your story because that's not it. Right now it's just too Harry centric, which makes me want to drop if right now, I don't read stories with male protagonists and right now he seems more important to the story than Hermione does. If I want to read about Harry Potter I'll read Harry Potter. It seems like your trying to tell people Hermione is the protagonist just so you can get more people to read about Harry. AT LEAST 70% of Hermione's scenes have Harry in them.

Alright, I'm done. Just try to focus more on who you said you would in the description or change the description to be more accurate "Mostly this is about Harry, but Hermione exists too, so there's that".

As I said some of this may just be my hate for Male Protagonists but this story feels like it's one of those instead of "Hermione-centric"

Remember some of this is just my bias against male protagonists but I absolutely HATE male Harry, I'm fine with Fem-Harry, but I don't read any story that focuses on male Harry.
pokemon-35055 chapter 4 . 8/20/2017
great work keep it up
Kuro-tan chapter 3 . 8/19/2017
Hmm, "Brann" Standby Mode is a form of book, but what about its "combat" mode? Staff? Spear? Gauntlet? And her voice, is it female or male?

The schoolmate with another Device, the seemingly taciturn girl, Mary King? With a book by Stephen King,? Really?

Another nice chapter
