Oh my god, this brought me to tears! Keep writing, you’re really good! I love how you decided to write about how innocent Squid actually is, and the mom spin was something I’ve been waiting for someone to write about because: no matter what you’ve done or said, however crappy you’re mom is, she’ll always love you!

This was pretty interesting to read, although, I would have liked some more of what squids life was like with his mother so we can feel the loss along with him.

I love your descriptions. Especially the emotion associated with the rain at the end.
