This was so fluffy! I loved this, and I also love how it portrays being both mute and deaf.

Amazing story. It is hard for people that are hearing/vocally impaired. And it sucks dragon balls that so many are judgmental of them- they can't help that they can't hear or speak. The waitress at the cafe, obviously knowing that Lucy is hearing/vocally impaired, should have talked to Natsu for Lucy as Lucy wrote down what she wanted/needed to say to him, but the waitress probably felt like she would have been intruding if she loitered. But it was wonderful that Natsu learned sign language so that he could better communicate with Lucy. A few nights ago I looked into downloading an app on my Amazon Fire Tablet for learning sign language- there are quite a few highly recommended FREE apps out there for sign language.

This was a beautiful story! I love it! I believe you should expand it into a multiple chapter story! It would be fantastic I think! I hope you consider it and do so.
