As the fictional counterpart to Japan, it's expected that Hingans have a cultural taboo against asking random people for help, especially outsiders. Claire, however, is an adventurer. Dropping everything to travel the length and breadth of Hydealyn and help out with things that have nothing to do with her is literally Tuesday. It's every other day too.

I couldn't resist poking fun at the cultural divide there, lol. It's already wide between Hingans and Eorzeans, but it's *much* wider once you dip into Adventurers.

Sorry to hear that! Losing your work like that can be devastating and the rewrite (at least for me) never seems as good as the first one. That said, give dive a marvelous job and I'm glad you got this chapter up!
