Man am I surprised to have found this gem, I really love this story, David as a character is nicely fleshed out, and his magic is really cool with a lot of thought put into it. I also enjoy his interactions with the main characters and cast, a major plus was making him in Phantom Lord instead of the usual FT guild trope, this sure brings a bout of fresh air and originality.

All in all, I really enjoyed binging this, and hope to read more from you

This is better than I expected well done

Being able to accelerate his thoughts and body to the point where time is essential super slow he should be able to make short work of most opponents he seems nerfed for plot

Honestly, this is one of the better Self-Insert OC's I have read and that I enjoy re-reading time again. It is very well put together and I love what you have done with the canon characters. I can almost imagine the animations, especially the little betting bit with Juvia and Happy. Including Lucy's reaction. I hope that David does not let beating Natsu get to his head. Like another reviewer wrote, this is only the beginning of the story before Natsu's many power ups. Their rematch would probably be very different. But I like how David knows his limits and is not over cocky about his speed like Racer. The set up with the approaching Lullaby Arc is very interesting. I also look forward to the other arcs like the Tower of Heaven and Fantasia. Especially the little ripples, such as the early return of Gildarts. I think the Phantom Lord Arc will still happen regardless of David's intervention. Since it is kind of canon that Makarov and Jose got into it at a conference which eventually lead to the guild war. Just using Jude's request to grab Lucy as an excuse to fight Fairy Tail. I imagine that Jose and Makarov will get into it during the Lullaby Arc because of what David did to Laki's dad. Something that could trigger Jose to go through with the guild war. But truthfully I am more interested in the Juvia vs Gray fight. Since she already has a loving boyfriend then she will actually fight Gray seriously. A very important change and it also begs the question of "Will David betray Phantom Lord to protect Magnolia from the Jupiter Cannon or Abyss Break?" Because he does not want civilians to get caught up in the cross fire. It will be interesting to see the struggle between his loyalty to his guild/guildmates and his morals/heart.
