The alternative ending also was realistic for me like it wiuld have made sense for me as well that Tora would cheat but I didn't expect it to be with Chiyo though. Well that is an alternative to the ending.
I suppose that entails Misaki breaking off the relationship with Tora now.

I think it was a better rewrite for the ending.
So Tora sacrificed himself for their love. A little disappointing that Misaki didn't really have a chance to properly sort things out between Tora and Takumi, and what she wanted for the relationship to go with.

I liked this story. It is different than the other stories on here and not everyone gets a happy ending in real life.

Sorry reviewers! I wasn't trying to change the story with a re-write I was just trying to improve the writing of the same story. Tora had to die. It was sort of factored into the character development. Takumi appoligizes to Tora before dinner because I didn't want him feeling bad after Tora dies saving his life, Misaki chooses to give Tora another chance in part because I know he won't actually be able to use it, I made Tora much less of a jerk because he was getting killed off, it kinda was a essential element of the plot.

It's less of a typical happily ever after story and more focused on the idea that even a person who isn't your true love can help you learn and grow and can strengthen your relationship with someone else and the idea that sometimes truely loving a person means giving them what they need even if it kills you.

Sorry if it's not your cup of tea. I'm still finding my way in this writing thing.

Uh Misaki! Fuck you and your chance theories. You think you can't be happy with Takumi but with Tora? Writer-san...If you had shown how much Tora betrayed her instead of just killing him off..it would be better
