I've been imagining that Marinette had both a site for her standard designs and a Ladybug & Chat Noir merch site officially endorsed by LB herself and was saving the money she would've given to Chat if he endorsed it too so she can gift it to Adrien when they graduate from lycée for his university education so he won't have to do what Gabe wanted from him! I've been daydreaming about it ever since I joined the fandom! So this decision of their's in your story is pretty close since I imagined MDC Fashions being a suprising rival to Gabriel only since it didn't do luxury designs and would then easily dwarf his company once they did luxury too! I'm so glad to finally see someone make a fic with such a similar concept! Woot! |
