I hope you will update this story, it is one of kind and generally well written

why would 7 of the 8 quarter finalists of the duelling tournament be third years?
I like this story, but you have trouble staying on the ground.
It also seems a bit too fast moving and too cloudy, considering the elaborate plotline you follow.
For example it is not clear to me how the brotherhood and the goals of their group emerged and what goals Harry has, which is in essence the core of this story.
