So, this comment really isn't the most relevant to this fic but anyway. You mentioned Guy and what most people notice first about him, it just got me thinking about the darn waves and sunset that just freakin' appear whenever he and Lee have an epiphany? of sorts. I'm still kinda shocked that no one in canon nor a fanfic author has ever had a character attempt to dispel the background as though it were a genjutsu. I mean, can you imagine if it was? That realization alone could actually lead to some ridiculous character interactions depending on whose there and the relationship between them.

Although, more for this fic... man, I just really want to see some sort of get together of all the genins... maybe right before the chuunin exams? in which they end up sharing, briefly, what kind of training they'd done since they all became genins. As it stands I'm pretty sure the type of work Ibiki is putting his team through is probably way closer to chuunin level training than genin level. Granted he was kinda forced to do that when his team decided to do their own training outside of the scheduled training time...

Anyhow, really enjoying the fic and I'm looking forward to the next chap!

I hope this isn't dead bc it's a fabulously written story so far.

And so, quite a few villagers will likely end up having a horrible time of things. And probably a few teachers, as well if they haven't already.

Though given that Naruto had been given scrolls AND had his apartment vandalized, there's some disconnect there. Probably some failure to actually report issues somewhere down the line. Even if the worst happened before Naruto learned how to set up traps. Well, unless it's a genjutsu using ninja to leave no physical evidence.

I am so exciting, I'm shaking in my boots (if I was wearing any right now) to see the persona that each genin chooses. Will Naruto go back to the loudmouth orange wearing brat or something else and what can Shino and Shikamaru come up with (silent Shino and lazy Shika).

Interesting how Ibiki is bringing up personas now. I wonder how it's going to play out during actual missions.
