I love the poem choice and how you fitted it into Alex's life . It would be better if you could have expounded more as well. The acceptance of it all was nice but I feel like Alex put up a big fight before accepting his road if you know what I mean. Maybe more negativity about his choice could have been expounded on when he brought it up to Tom.

Your story was also really nice. Short and sweet, and it matches the poem well. The ending is a nice wrap-up to the story.

A very thoughtful little piece! I like it a lot. It's true, Alex might have taken a very different path, and it was interesting to read him weighing the ups and downs of the path he did end up taking. I actually like the shortness of the fic, it summed up a lot of possibilities in a few words, and still got across Alex's emotions clearly. And Robert Frost is always a win.
