It’s easy to imagine Castle as he makes his breakthrough about how Beckett communicates no verbally — I’m sure his smile was blinding. And then he proves how adept he is at pushing her buttons...

I think Castle can be comfort with her language for him, at least for the time it takes her to open up her heart and voice how much she wants him. She doesn't talk now, but when they're knitted more closely by their hearts, the voice will appear!

It was pretty much a conversation through body language, and I think the both of them have no qualms talking such a way. A whole lot more than just their special handshake.

Castle, as usual, is very persistent and in this case really wants the answers to his questions.

The smut is strong with this one.

Another very enjoyable read. I like how Castle was able to push his way through her B.S. and get her to admit what she wants without having to be too devious or over the top. He simply confronted her with the facts (and her body's reactions) and let that do the work for him. I also like how stubborn she still was at the end, not talking even though he wanted her to.

By the way, you had your Brit showing again in this one - "makes no odds to me" is another of those phrases that we don't use on this side of the pond (the meaning was very clear, though). We would probably say "makes no difference to me " or "doesn't matter to me" instead. Just FYI.
