Okay, my explanation for this story:
Maybe Alex is just colorblind. Like, colorblind as in “theres something wrong his eyes and he cant see color, even if he meets his soulmate” colorblind. Maybe, maybe not? Thats just my headcanon.
If you do write a sequel to this, can it be like, “alex broke his arm or something minor like that and the doctors explain that he can never see color but he’ll still feel the tingles”
