Losing Blaise was pretty harsh, but such is the penalty of war, good people die. This was an excellent chapter and did really well to highlight that Alex hasn’t been alone in the darkness, he just couldn’t see that the light was right in front of him all along. It is pretty awesome that Alex saved not only his mother but his unborn sibling as well.

Here is another difference Alexander can make, Rufus Scrimgeour becoming Minister perhaps Alex can find ways to expose corruption within the Ministry. He might be able to prevent Amelia Bones' death, having her will be a big help. Alex can expose corrupt and Death Eater spies in the Ministry by investigating with his father Sirius Black in the summer following Fudge's resignation. Scrimgeour though reluctant due to the concern of the Ministry's reputation and what effects it can have on the Wizardry world. However, Alexander and Sirius can point it to the more positive effects as it can show the Ministry is changing for the better by bringing down corrupt members and spies that can cripple Voldemort's plans. Also Voldemort's cause is based on Pure-blood supremacy, and Sirius Black was raised in a pure-blood supremacist household, his mother Walburga was as pure-blood supremacist as it gets. If anyone has any idea on what pure-blood supporters and evidence to expose them, it will be Sirius and strike a blow against Voldemort. And increasing morale and good relations between the Ministry and the Order of the Phoenix.

Now, its just an idea. The plans on how to use should you decide to do so or to not, is up to you as it is your story.

Glad Umbridge got her in this story, and I have my hopes that by the time she is free it will be too late to punish Alexander in more ways than she can imagine. Now the question is, what difference does Alexander make in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries.

quite the brisk meeting

So much amazing character development happened in this chapter, as painful as it might have been. It’s been so fascinating to see the constant fluctuations of Alex’s mindset of light and dark and his continuous battle with himself to do the right thing despite others always reminding him and pushing him towards his inner darkness. With how tense and aggressive things have been between Harry and Alex, that fight needed to happen to lighten their loads, not to mention it was such a cool fight. It’s nice to see a small fragment of the bond that Alex and Harry once had starting to shine through again. Amazing chapter!

Nice chapther. I would like hints to the Hogwarts Mystery game

Damn, regardless of the choices Alex makes, his worst fears continue to haunt him. I can’t help but wonder if Alex is subconsciously pushing his mother away more because of his growing darkness than his mistrust in her.

I wonder if Alex has the strength to let Daphne go after all he went through to win her heart, or if she might see through it if he does. Honestly I didn’t expect Alex to react that way when he finally saw his mom again, though it does make sense given his train of thought in the moment. This chapter was so good! I look forward to the next update.

This was a really good chapter. It’s good that Hermione and Alex can finally move past the issues between them, it was a nice heart to heart they had. On the other hand, with Alex being drafted to replace Harry as seeker, I feel tensions between them are gonna get worse before they get better. Still, it’s been interesting to see the relationships between these characters develop in the directions they’ve gone. I look forward to the next chapter.
