Interesting stuff so far, and overall a decent read.
I do think it was a misstep for Snape to notice Lucius slipping the diary to Ginny and then forget to act on it. Would have been more understandable for Harry to be the only one to see it and then forget to mention it to Snape. As you wrote it, not too credible.

lost interest in this. It had good points, but the too canon 2nd year in-school plot pissed me off with all the terribly convenient 'forgetting' about Lucius, Dobby and the plot and even SEEING him slip something to Ginny, which they then promptly chose to just ignore, so you could give us a canon rehash, even *partially*.

The amusing diary Riddle isn't good enough to make me overlook all the potholes and idiot ball carrying needed for it to even get to that point.

And the somehow still super powerful and untouchable Albus Dumbledore, despite him losing the Elder Wand put me over my limit. Gellert's been stuck in a prison for decades, Albus doesn't have the 'unbeatable' wand, but Gellert, by himself! managed to imperius the entire prison staff? Bullshit.

I know this chapter was written long, long ago, but how could all the muggleborn have come through 'weeks ago' if the school letters only just went out yesterday? If the muggleborn letters were made/available to send out weeks ago, they could've sent them ALL out at the same time. Giving all the magical families loads more time to choose when to go shopping.

As shown with the Weasley's, they HAD to do the shopping that day, as Arthur couldn't get another day off. If the letters come out a month, or even two weeks earlier, then they can more easily schedule time off to allow all parents that want to, to go with the kids.

Can't really buy the 'convenient plot device' of forgetting what Lucius Malfoy, the one they know has some evil plot, slipped into Ginny's cauldron. Hoping I'm not going to see lots of idiot ball holding just so even part of canon year 2 can happen.

You could name the Muggleborn Allegra Rose Morgan, with Morgan being her last name.

Does Riddle hate Dumbledore more than he hates Fangirls? It would be interesting to see if a young and sane version of Riddle would learn from his mistakes and join the Potter Alliance in fighting against the two Dark Lords.

ask yourself why you have such dark feelings for someone who is simply naive as opposed to willfully harmful.

Hiring hit wizards to take out political opponents would be more worthy of death by basilisk, I would think.

I think you are making a mistake in dog breeds Bulldogs either English or French Bulldog are legal breeds here in the UK along with Staffordshire Bull terriers. Pit Bulls are not these dogs are a crossbreed of Bulldogs and Bull terriers which were then bred for there aggressive nature. Bulldogs are very friendly dogs also very loyal.

I was so happy you released a new chapter to this story, and it was fairly long.
What I'm looking forward to seeing soon...
How dismayed Draco will be about his new "lessons" and the consequences that will happen to him and his mother.
How the Chamber of Secrets story will change either slightly or greatly.
Will Dumberdore ever be caught doing something red handed and removed from the school say...slapping Harry in full view of Mcgonagall and other students.
I am eagerly awaiting to find out.
