Why hello there I'm in loss for words, this was just too good. Everything was good, and the concept of making Bucky take off the mask himself was brilliant. My heart is fluttering with excitement, really. You described Steve's joy in such a way, it felt like my own.

So I am reading some chapters of this over again after fun hushing this fanfic and just wondering...why does Bucky kiss Steve on the cheek when he finds out who he is? Is that supposed to be A subtle thing or something? Just curious.

I'm still all quivery and tingly from this glorious, superb, utterly perfect, chapter!
It's so deliciously satisfying, the way it turned out! The alternate reveals were great, but this one is perfect.
When Bucky ask him to hold him, and when Steve freezes and falls onto the couch in shock, and most of all, when he chokes out a cry and 'falls upon his neck' ... ahhh!
I'm still drowning in feels.
Not sure if I want to curl up in delirious happiness, or I want to shriek in delight!
And now it's 4 in the morning, but I just had to finish it, and oh dear! Oh my! Oh help!
Now all I need to complete my bliss is Bucky's perspective.
Don't feel rushed though; I know it takes a long time, and I'm happy to wait for weeks if it turns out even a fifth as good as this!

Oh, I love the way you're building up to the reveal!
I also love dream Bucky, and phantom Bucky, and Steve being sad!
It's so delicious when our heroes are hurting and we know something wonderful is approaching!
