Two lovable snarky idiots hanging around the dunes is the absolute best. They're almost like a tsukkomi and boke pair. Did I ever say I loved them in a previous review? Because goshdarn do I love them. Baalmon and Satellamon and Tactimon and Bii and basically every character here.

Goshdarn do I love 'em.

I almost choked on my juice in the middle there. Pardner, that was unexpected. Woody and cowboy memes are starting to loop in my head. It all comes back to cowboy boot sideburns, I'm telling ya.

But man, Baalmon and Satellamon. I swear.

This type of relationship between Magna & Ulforce is truly something I cannot get enough of!

The little parts about Magna & Ulforce were perfectly written and really made the eventually sorrow that much more painful. This is my one of my favorite characterizations yet!

This is by far the most hilarious story I have ever read and each character reaction is so on point yet random that I can't stop laughing even as I am typing. You are brilliant!

This characterization of Jesmon and Gankoomon are definitely my favorite of all time!

And once again, I am struct down by these feelings. Positive thoughts and happiness engulf me, leaving me clutching my chest, my heart not being able to withstand these saw feelings. My last thoughts are about a family forged through trust before I inevitably fall victim to a heart attack.

Gah. I sure am weak to any and all of these nice feelings.

New characters! New friends! A family! They look happy together and I'm happy for them! Very family, very protective, very nice dynamic. Much love. I love them already. A team in which all trust each other and are a family in all but blood. Yes, I boldly proclaim once again that I attach myself quickly to your characters! I love them, and know that I know that I love them.

Even though it's short, I really like this one.
It gets across a lot in not a lot of words.
I like how Gankoomon seems to realize that the fierceness he holds towards his proteges is familial and thus runs both ways. And thus his strength continues through them as well as itse
And strength seems to be a running theme here. The physical strength of Gankoomon is emphasized in the first half with him as the protector and his mental integrity in the second half with him as the protected. Similarly, the fierceness and of Hackmon and the Sistermon is a focus in the first part and the second shows that their physical strength now matches their conviction. The two halves parallel each other nicely. I also like how the last couple of lines tie in the title.

I am curious as to who their opposition is, but it doesn't matter at all for this chapter to be effective. Also. Yay, Sistermon Blanc and Sistermon Noir. I feel like they are underutilized. I'd love to see more of these guys.

I read 'biker demon lord clad in leather' as 'bikini demon lord clad in leather' and had to stop myself for a moment before doing a double take there, ehe. Looks like there's a bit of lack of sleep that's catching up there, but can't argue it made a pretty, uh, interesting? weird? strangely not that out of place? image :p (It's like a sudden flashback to chapter 6...) Another time like that is when Tacti mentions 'Akasuna', my mind jumped straight to 'Akasuna no Sasori' and there goes the moment...

You know this, and I know this, and I know that you know that I know this, but, I mean, I live for Tactimon and Bii interactions. Bonus points for fluff or crack. Or backstory, or plot-relevant items. Bonus points for anything related to them, actually. For Bii's cheekiness, for Tactimon's insistence on the koicha, for how they're so trusting of each other, for how unconcerned and indifferent to the general chaos around them, and much more. Ugh, those guys give me life, really.

As for something I would like to see... Can't say I've got much on that, urk. Though if you wouldn't mind too much, could we have another Lilithmon appearance? :o We haven't seen her much part from her interaction with Bii back in chap 2 and I'm suuuper curious about her place in the lore!

(I never tasted koicha... Wonder how it tastes :O)

You know it's skill when you manage to keep everyone in character and still make it crack. Royal Knights interactions are always fun to read, hehe.

For that stunt, I deeply admire Omegamon's courage. Either balls of steel or total lack of shame or something else completely, but in any case, to be able to shine and glitter so brightly so nonchalantly is a rare trait to have. Someone unlike any other, shining brighter than the sun itself, glittering brighter than a disco ball and suntanning with his armour on. This is someone to look up to, to admire. Know that Omegamon had gained my eternal respect.

I might have mentioned this before, but I LOVE ROYAL KNIGHTS DYNAMICS. Perhaps as much as I love Tactimon and Bii's interactions? Perhaps, perhaps. Maaaaaaan, it's so easy to get attached to these guys with your writing ;~;

Aw, we get an insider on Tacti's thoughts! And a glimpse of his past. Silence... the silence is comfortable from time to time, but it gets lonely when it stays for too long. Not to mention it's always nice to have someone to talk to and respond back. It's nice to have a friend to share things with, to conspire with, or just to talk with for the sake of talking.

There's also something about the two... maybe it's how they're completely comfortable with being so close together, maybe it's Bii's half-awake half-asleep "Love ya", maybe it's how Tactimon is gentle with the sleeping Bii and how trusting they are of each other, but aaaaaah, this is amazing! But no, 'amazing' isn't exactly the word I'm searching for. Um, maybe something more soothing and less energetic than 'amazing'? It's calming and comforting, but also amazing. Comfmazing? Can that be a word? The feeling you get when you're sitting under the stars with a friend and said friend turns around and smiles at you, saying how happy they are at having met you? You know that feeling? Yeah, it's like that. (Gosh, I'm an aspiring writer, I should be more eloquent than this! I should have a word for this! But I don't! So instead you get a small paragraph of me rambling about some vague feeling!)
