Guest chapter 1 . 4/21/2018 Please update! |
TheWonderfulShoe chapter 17 . 3/24/2018 ;-; I'm still rooting for them...still hoping they'll be okay. Mother Bennet, too. |
Motherof8 chapter 17 . 3/23/2018 I think Darcy needs a good slap! |
Guest chapter 1 . 3/22/2018 I can even begin to explain how much I love this story. I feel like these characters are real persons. I breaks my heart to see them this way- so in love, so afraid to do or say something wrong so they don't say anything at all... It's easier to be happy for people like Bing and James. Some people have to battle their demons all day, everyday... I just wish that Eli and Darcy would start to talk to each other, it would be much easier for both of them. |
FatPatricia515 chapter 17 . 3/22/2018 gasp - definetly half agony. Logan is totally hitting on Darcy now. So many feelings. Poor Eli. |
IrishJessy chapter 16 . 3/1/2018 Can't believe I forgot to review this one. Something's got to give here, with Darcy and Eli living apart and that creep Logan definitely planning something. I'd love to see Darcy meet the Gregorys', I think they could become special to Darcy too (I sense they are going to be very special to Eli). They both need surrogate somethings, be it parents or just normality on their side. |
phyloxena chapter 16 . 2/13/2018 Things should be happening... but it really isn’t a good idea for Eli to break Logan’s face. How to sort out this thing...? I probably said it before, in comments to the other story, the first one, that your take on P&P really brings home how disparate the protagonists are. For a modern reader, a poor girl with an embarrassing mom - c’mon, who cares? But Eli as you wrote him, with the dad and the anger and too good looks, starts out as big time bad news, and he knows it and he fights it and still I am waiting for some disaster. I sure hope ITD will somehow avoid it, though... that it isn’t too final. Also, Eli’s inner life comes through as much more relatable, or interesting. Darcy is, I should say traditionally, a mass of unrelieved angst duct taped with work ethics... let’s see what an angry poet can do with it. |
Guest chapter 1 . 2/12/2018 This story has touched me on so many levels. D&E's relationship is so hauntingly beautiful, I find myself thinking about them in the middle of the day. It is so moving to read about two people who are so different and who are trying so hard to be a better person for their significant other. Amazing. Please don't let them suffer more, get rid of that Logan guy and just let them be happy! |
Joanna chapter 16 . 2/12/2018 Nice progression of the stuff that here. Logan is getting more and more obvious and even oblivious Darcy is starting to twig that he’s trying to seduce her. Too bad she didn’t tell Eli. He would have picked up on it right away. Don’t t let this be a thing that separates them. The baby saga was traumatic enough and these two have a lot of stuff to get over just based on their different personalities. |
FatPatricia515 chapter 16 . 2/11/2018 Darcy would never cheat on Eli but I feel like something is going to happen to make Eli leave because he thinks she is. I dont trust Logan. I adore Eli's new surrogate parents. My heart actually hurts on the idea of him writing Darcy poetry, so beautiful. |
stareven chapter 15 . 2/5/2018 Like George said, I really don't like Logan. What's going on here My creep-o-meter's came on last chapter and now it's blazing. And our dear Darcy seems unaware but I hope she keeps her guard up. He's kind of gently pushing and testing how far he can go. Ugh, I hope Darcy calls him on it quickly in her cool, professional way. The parents - what a sad story. Makes me understand Darcy so much more. She's always so hard on herself and I'm glad she's letting Eli in more. I like Prof. Gregory. I hope he'll be a good friend/mentor to Eli. :) |
