LaceNLeather24 chapter 1 . 7/3/2017 Loved the whole story so far, haven't read the last chapter yet though. I hope you write more Olivia and Amanda stories in the future! |
KalenCaelli chapter 7 . 7/1/2017 Such a sweet, well thought out ending to this story. You've no idea how happy I am to see a happy ending, even if I wanted it to be longer. And now, in the enraptured word(s) of the famous Maggie Simpson... "Se-quel?" |
KalenCaelli chapter 6 . 7/1/2017 I had a serious case of the warm fuzzies in this chapter. You do a good job of portraying the fact that Liv is someone people want to go to bat for, even if they don't always understand why they are doing it. |
KalenCaelli chapter 5 . 7/1/2017 I think this chapter is a nice follow up to Olivia offering herself up a second time as a sacrificial lamb (though I can justify the first time, albeit barely). It takes a hell of a lot of commitment to put your money where your mouth is th this case, and Liv had one hell of a time of it. This chapter, the reconciliation, is beautifully written and conveys the underlying emotion I believe existed all along between these two women, though fear, uncertainty and anger kept it hidden for far too long. I'm sort of sad we don't get to follow this along further, but it's not to be. |
KalenCaelli chapter 4 . 7/1/2017 This is probably the first chapter that made me feel sympathy for Olivia. She may have started this whole twisted dance but Amanda went so far past finishing it that you can't help but feel sorry for her. |
KalenCaelli chapter 3 . 7/1/2017 The dialogue really jumped out to me in this chapter. It's as if every single word is carefully chosen and selected for maximum impact. Olivia's final entreaty for Amanda to let her in gave me goosebumps. It's a really beautiful chapter. |
KalenCaelli chapter 2 . 7/1/2017 I was highly amused by the two ladies' race to outdo each other off the cliff in the interview with Tucker, I actually laughed out loud at the Divorce Court comment. It's a shame Amanda didn't see how lucky she was in that moment to have someone willing to sacrifice it all for her, but given her history it's really little surprise. Her tumble into the well of anger is pretty realistic given all that has happened, if counterproductive. |
KalenCaelli chapter 1 . 7/1/2017 What I really, really love about this particular chapter is the powerful display of emotion by Amanda at the end of this chapter, and the subtle but definite presence of emotion Olivia has in those final moments leading up to the self-reporting. Amanda's shame over what has happened, her guilt at actually having participated, even enjoyed it, Olivia's fear of it becoming public knowledge, of possibly losing everything, but still somehow determined to do the right thing. This was such a beautifully written chapter. |
