(This is a Switched At Birth fanfic of my own. Plz don't judge but enjoy. Takes place shortly after Surprise. Summary: When Bay continues to show symptoms from her sickness in China, it could be much worse & it's up to Daphne & the rest of the family to save her before it's too late.)

Bay was sitting on her bed, scrolling through the pictures of her & Daphne in China when she suddenly felt nauseous. Daphne walked in. "Hey, Bay." She said, smiling. Bay didn't respond. Daphne's smile then turned into a frown. "Bay? What's wrong?" She said, sitting next to her. "Oh, it's nothing. My stomach just has been bothering me again." Bay responded. Daphne placed her hand on Bay's forehead & felt that she had a high fever. "Okay. This is the second time, Bay. But I think that you're still sick from China." Daphne said. Bay scoffed. "Yeah right. I'm not really si- Oh. I don't feel very well, Daphne." Bay said, before feeling nauseous again & beginning to sweat. "Okay, I'm getting Kathryn." Daphne said. "H-H-Hurry." Bay said, not being able to say much anything else.

"Kathryn! There's something wrong with Bay!" Kathryn & John rushed upstairs, only to see that Bay was unconscious, looking flushed like she was in China. "Bay!" Daphne said, breaking down in tears. "Don't worry. We'll save her." Kathryn said, reassuringly.
