Guest chapter 10 . 4/2/2019 Gahhhhhh! So good! Bittersweet is my favorite thing. |
laureleaf chapter 10 . 12/6/2018 I saw your Redwall reference, don’t think I didn’t :p Honestly, I kinda prefer endings that aren’t ~picture perfect~. In a way, those kinds of endings are spoilers because you already know what to expect by the end. Having a bittersweet ending is harder but more rewarding. |

uddelhexe chapter 10 . 5/18/2018 The end is bittersweet. Sad because of Deans feelings of loss...sweet because lil Cas can have a happy Life now. |

Miyth chapter 10 . 8/13/2017 Bravo Aini :) I think you did a wonderful job with this story. I'm very happy with your decision to not bring "our Cas" back. This was a powerful fic with messages about grief, acceptance, love, and closure. I related so much as a reader to what Dean was going through, because I wanted Cas back too, but as we got to know little Cas, we started to see what we could loose instead. I also like that it wasn't a decision anyone had to actually make between little Cas and Castiel. Everyone was at the mercy of what would be, without much influence over it. That was also very relatable; the characters' struggled internally about what they wanted and yearned for, which was separate from the fact that they had no real control over the outcome. Because it matters how they feel, and what they were willing to accept. I'm very proud of you for this one :) I know it must have been hard not "fixing" the character death, but I truly believe that the fic was much better for it. We got some really wonderful commentary out of it, and I feel like I got to grow a little myself while reading. |
