Hey how long until before we finally meet Marthas arrogant, stuck up parents who SERIOUSLY think they can come back into HER life after she LEFT them YEARS ago and has had NO contact with them since then, and TRY and set her up with some pureblood wizard of THEIR choice just because their ONLY other child besides her turns out to be sterile and CAN'T continue the family bloodline so NOW they need their 'runaway' daughter back, like whatever life she MIGHT now have made for herself over the years since leaving them no longer matters as long as they get what THEY want from her? I hope if Martha gets her wand back, she happily shows how much DISPLEASURE she has in what THEY want before leaving and returning home to Gotham with Thomas. Shes an adult and ALREADY married woman with a baby ALREADY on the way. Shes not obligated to do what her parents say anymore if she doesn't want to, and especially not obligated to leave the man AND baby she loves to go marry some egotistical pueeblood wizard her parents 'picked out' for her without her permission or consent.

I imagine that having a bunch of British Aurors entering the country won’t go unnoticed by the MACUSA and by extension the US Aurors.

I also imagine that in order to prevent a snafu, that they had to inform MACUSA and the US Aurors as to the situation and get permission to enter the country, right? Hopefully the US Aurors will be willing to cooperate with the British Aurors on this case.

Especially since a very prominent American citizen was one of the ones kidnapped. Thomas may be a No-Maj, but I doubt MACUSA would want to risk the kind of attention this would undoubtedly bring from the non-magical world if this draws on long enough. Plus I imagine American half blood and No-Maj born families would be in an uproar if they find out about this and that the MACUSA didn’t help.

Wouldn’t the MACUSA ally themselves with the Ministry if the Death Eaters messed up in their recruiting efforts? Like say someone they thought would be an ally just pretends to be one, but acts as a double agent due to hating the idea of a magical foreigner taking over the US? (But wouldn’t have been opposed if Voldemort had been American instead.)

Do they really think that people from other countries would be okay with the thought of a foreigner ruling over them?

Couldn't Martha simply flat out say NO to EVERYTHING when her parents show up? Shes not some underaged kid who THEY can decide HER future for her. Even in the magical world, AND seeing how old she is now, don't they still need HER consent AND permission, not to mention HER signature on the contract as well as theirs to show HER agreement to it, for this bethrothal contract to go through? *lol*

plus after all this time since they last heard from her, why are they ASSUMING that she is still AVAILABLE to go through with THEIR plans for her? With all this time since they last saw her, for all they know she might have gotten married already and already has a passel of kids.

Though I just thought of something. Since the Kanes are Purebloods, don't they have a magical self updating Family tree in their house, like the Blacks do? If they recently looked at it I bet they'd notice that Marthas image on the tree has updated itself to include the baby shes already carrying and maybe her current husband added to it. *lol*
