NaLu is one of my ultimate OTPs, and will forever be. And this fanfiction is one of the best ones that depict them!
Some of the things that I love the most about My Best Friend's Boyfriend is that:
- Jude Heartfilia don't act like Lucy's not his daughter. He actually acts like the wonderful human being he is in this fanfic, and loves Lucy in the inside and the outside.
- Lisanna's not the villain in this (honestly, I think that villain!Lisanna's outdated and not true). From what I've heard, some NaLu fanfics use Lisanna as the love rival for Lucy, the one who tries to take Natsu and Lucy apart to have Natsu all to herself. Basically, like Serena in PokeShipping vs AmourShipping fanfiction. The difference is, Lisanna is a complete character that's really likeable (hey, I may ship NaLu to death, but Lisanna is one of my favorite characters in Fairy Tail), and Serena's just a character that exists to be shipped with Ash and AmourShipping's not even worth it to ship. And I like Lisanna and hate Serena (basically Serena in the whole XY arc: ASH, ASH! I'm your childhood best friend! Love me only, and no one else! Also, who really cares about those other people? I only care for you! And fashion and stuff! I don't even have a goal until MUCH, MUCH LATER in the series) Oh, you're in danger/trouble? (goes far, far, far away) Ash, believe in our love! Don't let that trouble defeat you! I promise, if you survive this, I'll kiss you!). While Lisanna: is nice, kind, polite, and selfless. Even willing to not return to Earthland in sake of her Edolas!siblings.

Anyway, there is one thing that I don't like about this fanfiction: Ultear and Lisanna being lesbian and loving each other. But it IS your fanfiction, after all, so who am I really to write another rant about lesbian feelings and be considered homophobia? (I'm NOT)
After a long time, this fanfiction finally came to an end, and a satisfying one too! I'm a bit sad to see it end, but if all the fanfiction that all the readers love on this site never end...well, pretty much the authors might lose interest in it and end it without a good ending, and a whole lot of chaos.
Well, there's always your other fanfiction to check out, so I can safely say that I'm fine with this fanfiction ending :)
