I love this so much! Normally, a story like this would take me a couple days to read, but this one took me a WEEK! I’m just delighted by so much here. This is a really interesting au, and so many other people who’ve chosen to make things related to it have tended to focus on Buddy, but I really like how Henry is here. I’m gonna go read the prequels now!

aaaAAAAAAAA! Considering! How much eldritch dabbling that's been going down thanks to Joey Drew I guess it's only fitting that things get resolved with a touch of eldritch. I particularly loved how rigidly the rule of "you have to ask/give permission" was followed by both Joey and the dude, and the very stark contrast between Joey's tactic of getting Bendy's arm twisted before even giving him the option of asking and the dude being as respectful as possible. And like! That's also a fitting resolution, that everything up to this point has happened because Joey did his best to make sure the only option available was HIS option, because the moment Bendy is finally given a choice about what to do his answer is 'stop it' because Bendy has more emotional maturity than a 50 year old studio director dabbling in dark magic.

I also caught that pun/reference in noting which one was Norman and I'm slightly mad about it XD

AaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAA! You're killing me, man! I blew through half of this fic in a single sitting and have been restraining myself to get through the rest at a more sensible pace, with moderate success. And just! Poor Bendy getting the rawest of deals here and it doesn't look like they're going to be getting better anytime soon. I cannot wait to see how you're going to get these folks to stop Joey's plans, since he unquestionably is holding the whole deck in this.

I swear, I started reading this two days ago, and I have officially fallen in love with it. I've honestly thought about writing something myself, but never got the courage to. I think I'd die for this.

Wow... just wow. I've known about Bendy for some time now (a little squeamish about horror games, sadly, so I'll probably never watch, much less play), but I go poking around for some clues about the storyline and I find this!? Geez, talk about unexpected! You're definitely going places here!
*rereads Author's note* Waait a second, Bendy has books?! ...I can handle horror books a lot better than horror games. I might need to look into this...

Henry and Ben, FINALLY reunited!
Sammy- the Real Sammy! He's still himself! Only he seems... sort of dead...? Like the souls of the workers are separate from their bodies, and Joey's using their bodies as pawns. That's super yikes. I'm glad Boris got to talk to Sammy but I am VERY upset about the trauma this poor wolf is enduring! And now Ben and Henry are separated again! Ahhhh!

What the crap. What th honest crap. I've spent the last several days binging this whole thing and. like. I can't. I thought you might leave Boris dead at first and you didn't. I thought you might kill him at the canon Boris's kidnapping and subsequent remodeling. And you didn't. You kept things sneaky and quiet and I'm not sure I understand exactly what's happening to Boris but what the CRAP YOU TOOK BORIS AWAY FROM US AGAIN. You took him from BENDY and BUDDY and AHAHAHAHHAAAAAHgh!

The way you've been building their past in increments, and building up Bendy's self-destructive thoughts into behaviors, the twists you've taken, and UURGH Henry is the monochrome monster isn't he? He's been chasing down his boys and Bendy yelled that stuff at him and now he's hiding probably bc he's terrified coming for them will make Bendy do something drastic!

Very good stuff. Very good.

Hey! Sorry it took me all this time to actually post a review, but my gosh, I am a HUGE fan of your story here! It's just so beautifully written and so full of heart. The relationships, their history, their fears and hopes, it's the most beautiful thing I've ever read, and how you continue to make it clear these are toons in these situations while making them very humane and relatable. I can't count how many times you brought me to tears, which is hard to make me do with a story. The effect of the ink, the way they had to learn the balance between being toons and being real, the demons they are now faces with, from actual demons to the humans who show the darker side of their kind, is just so creative and original and I love that. This is a twist to the fanbase I haven't seen anything like up until now, and I adore every moment of it. I even continue to go back and read it over and over again, while also coming back often to check for any new chapters. I really hope to see more, even if the canon story was... not what we expected. ; Anyways, I hope to see more in the future!
