If Voldemort ceased to exist, it would have created a whole new timeline. That means that the timeline from which the older Harry and Ginny were from would have been destroyed. This means that the older Harry and Ginny would have ceased to exist. Also, the fact that older Harry and Ginny were staying there and that Ginny was her own husband's godmother would essentially entail a very, very weird circumstance for the younger Harry and Ginny. Also, staying there in that timeline could essentially complicate things beyond a point because, two versions of the same individual existing in the same time... well, I hope you get my point. In time turners, you aren't allowed to be seen. However younger Harry will meet older Harry and that is wjere the timelime starts becoming 'mangled', I suppose, for a lack of better word.
However, it was a beautifully written fic and a very nice plot indeed. The people are described perfectly as they are SUPPOSED to be different from their future selves, but still be mature enough to handle a war. Many stories I've read, failed to put that into consideration. The idea of Tom using a recprd-keeping book as a Horcrux was BRILLIANT! Book Harry, Ron and Hermione would never have been able to realise that there were 8 Horcruxes (including Harry). You are an amazing writer.

Firstly, sorry it has taken so long for me to review. I am trying to read and review all of the monthly exchange fics. Secondly, I didn't read the synopsis before reading this so I went in pretty much blind but I have to say I did enjoy it a lot. It was an interesting take on saving the world, though its a shame that all those people had to die before it got fixed. I liked the relationship they all seemed to have together but I have to say my favourite part was the last when little mischievous Ginny went flying into big Ginny. Cute fic well done :D

Em, this is amazing! I love the whole idea so much and the way you developed it! I love that it's Ginny who travels through time (and you characterized her very well!), and the idea of the 8th horcrux is so brilliant especially since it is the record-keeping book of the Orphanage. It's so clever and cunning! (I've always thought canon Horcrux were way too obvious and not that believable after all). And of course, aw, I love the way you ended this!
