Great story, McGonagall was a little OOC because she listened to and cared about a student, but considering part of this story was raising awareness, I definitely agree with the change.

You are so right! I'm thankful when I had those thoughts I got help! I spent 17 days out of my 73 years and it was the best thing i ever did other than have my children! now I'm hear to enjoy 18 Grandchildren and soon to be 20 great grandchildren!

That's one of the flaws of HP-verse. Children don't just bounce back from the experiences like killing Quirrel in self-defence, or confronting the giant Basilisk, or facing a horde of Dementors. Nobody thoight about Harry;s mental health, just like nobody thought about Ginny's mental health in your story.
Honestly, I'm surprised Harry didn't snap and start a magical school shootout.

It would be awesome as a series. Also Hermione should be paying for Ginny getting new uniforms as she can obviously afford it
