I agree that Aelita would reach out to William. Of all their group, she was the most compassionate.

This was really good and I believe that this completely belongs in this fic. After all it's not that strange that siblings could feel that sense of jealously towards one another on occasional and kept keeping quit instead of acting on it fits their character...and reminds me about my own siblings.

This... Is... BRILLIANT. Ulrich's jealousy, Aelita's jealousy. The different ways people think... You captured it SO WELL! And with the parallel structure, it's even better! Made. My. Day. (But now I'm sad.)

Like you said, I'm not sure if this chapter belongs in this fic, but I'm not sure if it doesn't either... either way, nice job on a very thought provoking and excellent chapter!

Bad days suck... but having a friend (Sibling) to cheer you up can really make it turn around. That being said, Since Aelita's entire existence at the point is completely fabricated, I'd expect her to pick up on lying quite easily!

Closing thought: I really like Sissi a lot too, but the relatively harmless way you've picked on her is fine.

This was really neat to see. And don't worry I don't think that you are picking on Sissi. After all as a spoiled girl being told no doesn't exactly compute to her and for a good part of Lyoko was hyper focused on wanting to date Ulrich.

Now as for requests I think it would be neat to see Ulrich and Aelita giving shovel talks to the future significant(s) of their "sibling."

This was great. I must say that you've written probably the only reasonable explanation for Aelita turning down spending the holidays at Jeremy, which made this premise work, so nice work on selling it to me (as a reader).

The actual Ulrich/Aelita interaction was great. Ulrich's reaction to his dad was perfectly on point, and Aelita's insistence (I've always thought that she had a stubborn streak!) was excellent! Nice work.

Also, the actual mechanics of your writing were excellent as well. Keep doing what you do. :)

This is rather nice series. Not too many stories just really focused on Ulrich and Aelita.

I’ve never really liked William, but that’s because I don’t really get along with his personality type. I have a lot of respect for his character and when he wasn’t possessed, he did a lot more good than harm. He even admonished Ulrich for keeping his feelings for Yumi bottled up and gave him a forewarning on his own intentions.

To those who would ask about Ulrich talking to Aelita about Odd, I would venture to say that he would try to steer Aelita clear of the womanizing cheat. He simply knows Odd too well to be able to vouch for him as a romantic partner.

I like Odd (if you took a look at my works, that should be plain to see), but not how he treats women. At all.

It's still as great as your other chapters. Huh it's true Aelita would reach out to William, wanting to be friends or at least civil with him after everything. Ulrich & her both had good points on William. If I had to pick a side tho it would be Ulrich's. Sorry Aelita, your my favorite Code Lyoko character but William's behavior before & during his XANA brainwashing it would be difficult to trust him. Yes he feels guilty but he's actions can't be so easily sweeped under the rug.

How about an AU chapter where Ulrich and Aelita are legally siblings? They can either be blood related, step-siblings, or one of them is adopted.
