Nice eye for detail. Although it's more likely they shot the scenes out of order and didn't think about the fact that Sam was only supposed to have one shoe by that point. These are the same continuity editors who forgot about Cas' mark on Dean's arm :( But I like your explanation better even if it means Sam's wearing a super gross sewer swamp soaked shoe!

Aww...how sweet! And...more importantly, awesome catch about the shoe. I watch the TNT reruns more mornings than not and I don't know how many times I've seen that episode, but never caught that he was later wearing both shoes again.

I had not even thought about that but you have a good point. That is so sweet that Dean went and got it for Sam and definitely not surprising. I loved how they were talking to Mary and Dean told Mary about the shoe incident. I really enjoyed this.
