Not only have i never seen anyone make a fic about pre ruby Remnant but i also love the vibe this story gives off like a “Fallout meets D&D” vibe, plus i want to see more development and though i love the originality i also want to see some RWBY plus i wanna know how percy and lance survive till then i mean its thousands of years right? Percy can also do acid by lowering PH levels in water and storms/ wind and lightning coz broseidon is also the god of sea storms. Not as strong as his other powers but still worth a go

Well, guns and most modern weaponry tends to malfunction around demigods, they have to be specially modified for that not to happen and even then, a sword can be used however many times is needed, especially one made from a godly metal like celestial bronze or imperial gold. However, a bullet can only be used ones and there is just not enough celestial bronze to go around for that to be sustainable. Besides, a sword or knife in the hands of a demigod is a hundred times more deadly than a gun in a humans hand.
Arrows can be picked up, and guns don't do any damage to monsters, at best maybe the sound disorients them for a second but no more since lead can't touch them. As for why monsters use them, instead of guns well then we go into more of a headcanon of mine, which is that guns are not really enough to take down a demigod while as seen when Jason was impaled by imperial gold in Blood of Olympus those metals actually attack the soul, Jason was never in any danger of dying from the wound itself say if the wound had been done by a regular sword, but because it had been done with imperial gold, to be healed he had to 'beat' the wound that would otherwise destroy his soul.
Also, they may use catapults but remember that they are loaded with the most powerful mystical substance in the world, greek fire. Or the onagers Octavian planned on using that mixed a whole lot of magical unstable materials that would go boom.

This is eh for me. Plot was kind of slow to start, but hopefully it gets moving soon. Considering these last few chapters I think it has, anyway.

Ok this story’s been awesome so far but if Percy was really as pissed as he was here then why is the first damage so low? In TLO he threw down a mini hurricane and with all his new powers he should be a walking disaster zone with some time fuckery mixed in

Oh shit, i think i just cause a glimpse of what they will be in the future, the 2 Gods that are brothers, the Light is Percy due to him being seen by the survivors as a leader and goals for them to survive, and the Darkness is Lance, due to him, when he is discovered can control the grimm and Typhon being chained inside of him, and did Percy gained a brief sense of amnesia in the beginning is because of the blood loose and him nothaving enough blood to carry oxygen to his brain? And i kinda see the military men as Atlas before they where driven out of Vale, wait which continent are we again? Or are we in the Dragon shaped Continent? It will make sense when the Atlas is driven out to the north, and the deserts of Vacuo is the remnants of the USA continent, but what about the area of Vale? The home of the Faunus? And since they are Demigods, they in a sense can gain strength when they are being worshipped right.
