I read this when it came out but just realized I never reviewed. In short, I love it! You know I'm a sucker for the Hades/Persephone comparison. I am fully enamored with the idea of Cedric stealing Sofia away (although here I get the impression Sofia had more to do with the stealing than he did :P). I am also a sucker for the dark hints this new possession implies. So yummy in my imagination. Glad you're posting these bite-sized stories again. Not only are they always amazingly written, but they always spin my brain off into wonderful places. :D

I have literal goosebumps all over. James's sacrifice for his sister is so wonderfully illustrated and palpably painful. It actually made me a teeny bit mad at Cedric at the end when he pulls her away. I mean, I know why he has to, but I was surprised by that tiny fissure of anger I felt. Hallmark of good writing that you can make me mad at my favorite character with one action at an emotionally charged moment. You can feel this one deep down in your chest. Very well done. Thank you for sharing!

I’m such a fan of Breath of the Wild and I love how you you molded a fan art into a Sofia story. So heartbreaking but well written. I quite enjoyed it.

Awesome! It was such a good the reference of Cedric being like Hades stealing Persephone. He was so frustrated by the engagement and the whole conversation. I absolutely loved the ending, with Sofia wearing his ring, which being not an ordinary one, binded them for good.

I loved this one shot, romantic while just being mildly dark. I especially enjoyed the persephone reference and inspiration. One of my favorite Greek myths. And that Cedric and Sofia are now bound to each other.
