please update, it starts interesting

just found this story, and I gotta say, I *really* love the premise! it's a shame it's [presumably] not gonna be finished, but I get it, these things are time consuming and inspiration can leave at a moment's notice. still, fingers crossed for a return!

Nooo why did this end? This is a really great beginning to the story. I love this idea and you're setting up the scenes so nicely. You're a very good writer. I really want to know what more is gonna happen. When will Megamind find out. How will they deal with it and that specific spark that happened between them.
Really hoping for a continuation!

I would love another update please, this story is great!

I really like how Megamind is willing to scrap an invention with actual potential of defeating Metro Man for the sake of Roxanne's safety! And Minion's 'we'll just have to be more careful' is very in character!

And she gets suspended?! I've never read that before, nice twist. Oooooh, she's pissed and i wonder how she'll blow off steam!

Really looking forward to the next chapter!

Nice to see Megamind is still worried about the possibility of putting Roxanne in danger so he doesn't want to continue the plan unless her safety is guaranteed.
And you can feel Roxanne's frustration on having to deal with everyone's glares and pretty evident opinions on her, including when it's interfering with her daily routine and even at work!
Now I'm really interested to see what the next chapter will hold.

Awe, he saved Roxanne.
Love how awestruck they were with each other, him noticing her freckles for the first time and her seeing how intensely green his eyes were.

The fact that she doesn't find him scary or intimidating anymore, and even does a mental list of errands to run is pretty funny on its own.
Methinks someone is getting a little too comfortable.

Her mind being distracted by the whole scenario up until the talk show catching her attention was a good detail, knowing it would take something big to take her mind off of things.

But now I'm wondering just who the hell it was running off their mouth and churning a storm in a cup!

I really like how what was really important before, the following the rumors, living up to and exceeding the ones he liked and silencing the ones he didn't, turns unimportant (with Minion's advice!) and into mostly just a source of fun! It's a nice example on how he evolves.

Oh and their reactions. Everyone's reactions! Roxanne and Metro Man feeling like idiots, and Megamind and Minion getting a good laugh. Oh, and Minion's reaction to the non-existent plan B, like he was NOT surprised at all!

I'm surprised Minion gets sent to jail too, but it's a nice twist.
Please don't stop!

He can read minds, oh that's golden.
And the fact that they both feel like idiots makes it that much funnier.

Love the idea of Megamind actually listening to rumors and trying to be better than them or taking control of those he doesn't like. It feels very much like something he would actually do, and grow out of (eventually).

And Minion trying to make sense of only kidnapping Roxanne was pretty funny on its own, how even he knows Roxanne and Metro Man aren't a thing but doesn't want to question Sir's logic. Too much.

Overall I would really like to see where the rumor mill takes Megamind next, so keep them rolling :)
