Never have I felt such emotions than I ever had with the dialogue between Harry and Serverus about his involvement with he-with-too-many-hyphens...I'm not crying you're crying. This is good keep up the good work and I can't wait for the later events of Harry's school life.

I loved this chapter. I couldn't stop reading it. :)

I realize that Severus needed to tell Harry his part even though it was a set up and Harry needed to hear what happened before school started so he isn’t hit with it surrounded by other students. Doing it now while hard for both Harry and Severus it will clear things up and I’m pretty sure bring them closer. Even if the Prophecy is not faked the telling if it and subsequent overhearing if it by Severus was a clear set up. Sending Hagrid with Harry for school supplies is another. I can understand Severus not going but Minerva, Filius or even a poppy could have gone since everything could have been owl ordered but for his wand and robe sizing and he wouldn’t have gotten Hedwig.
I also find it ironic that Severus spent the majority if the morning nit telling Dumbledore anything and dancing around his questions but then spent hours with Poppy and Filius trying to come up with ways to make Harry’s life better. I know that Dumbledore had Hagrid take Harry and go in about Voldemort then later somehow he would have it slip out via other students or his pawns that it was Severus who was the Death Eater that initiated his parents death...too bad Severus was already truthful...way more truthful than he needed to be with Harry. This is a a great chapter even if it has a very sad ending. Hopefully someone feeds Hedwig.

I'm sorry for the lateness of my review. I had to catch up on the previous chapters. I am falling in love with the relationship between Severus and Harry. I love that Severus' protective nature is growing for the boy, even though, he doesn't realize it.
I'm wary of the veiled threat that Albus gave Severus. I can't wait to see what you have planned for the next chapter.

Please stay safe during these difficult times.

I think though Albus himself will regret forcing Severus to teach and help Harry its going to be the saving of those two and the downfall of Dumbledore. It will be interesting to see how things go once school actually starts up.

Oh wow! I enjoyed this chapter. I love how the potion worked for Harry. I guess when Harry goes to Diagon Alley he will know for sure if his hearing is overwhelming.
