I like the nickname Joey and Tristan have for Anzu - it's cute!

I also Joey's anguish over Mai's being how she is at this point in time, and how Tristan's reassurances aren't helping him. While Tristan is attempting to help him, the point remains that it's hard to see past emotional guilt.

I had a feeling that Yami's plan wasn't going to work. While his intentions are good, he's up against brainwashing that has occurred over a long period of time.

That flogging was hard to read, but I like how the story is still having Yami go through physical torment. It serves as a heavy contrast to the the nigh untouchable entity he was from first leaving the Puzzle, and continues to be a representation how he is going through a redemption arc.

Okay, so Dartz throwing a chair and getting angry about orange scarves got a chuckle out of me. It's funny to see a usually so composed man breaking down.

I like how this chapter gives a subtle jab to how protesting has changed in the modern day. Of course Dartz wouldn't understand it, given how he has lived for so long, and seen humans act differently in the past.

I also like your notes about his long lifetime, such as the 1916 reference.

I like how you included a duel in this chapter. Rarely does this happen in Yu-Gi-Oh fanfiction. I find it interesting that Yami lost, and it makes sense, given how his willpower is slipping.

I loved the sensual scene with him and Anzu in the chapter, and how they aren't reckless about it. They're considering each other, as well as Yugi, in this.

I also like how Yami's confident tone of voice finally came back on him.

Sorry it's been a while - life and work became difficult, and it took time from me to be able to read.

Good job exploring Gale's character in this, in multiple ways.

We can now see how she is the way she is. While her actions in the story aren't condonable, she was carrying a large amount of grief for her loss, and her beliefs, as a result, were fed by them. Zelatory doesn't exist in a vaccuum, rather it is powered by the human struggle for survival and meaning in a chaotic world.

Took me too long to read, but worth it because I loved this.

I absolutely love this story! Excellent grammar and formatting, great pacing of the story, great characters and amazing raw emotion! love it and can't wait for the next update

Ahhh I love this story so much, hope you update soon. I think I've probably read every Yami/Atem and Tea story going (oops) and your stories are soooo good!
