Garbage, basically just a rehash of canon. I would think Ruby would be a bit more collected instead of just running in like an idiot like canon.

Great story so far.

I'm usually not one to praise brutal violence like this, but, just for this, I'm making an exception. He deserved that. It's the perfect torture for a man who uses his fists to fight. Losing his right arm, which is his dominant arm, means he now can't fight properly, and considering Qrow has an in with Ironwood through Ozpin, it's unlikely any special Atlas tech will find it's way onto Tai's arm.

I think the best part of this chapter is when skyler found his hat.

I personally would have kept Ruby's team the same as canon just to see what happens and also make Yang suffer.
