Well, my friend sent me the fic and I love her more for that. I loved it!
Jean is great. He is so critical and conscientious of all and I love that the authors write about his love for Mikasa! He is in love and fights for that, but at the same time enjoys it and I like Mikasa to be kind to him,
And in truth, you will have no idea how much I loved this phrase: "His heart sank a little, realizing that was likely the reason she was consenting to have him around. They were two wounded little birds, sitting together on a lonely perch. He thought to leave then, but he couldn't.
