Why the hell she is so weak ? I never playee bloodborn but I firmly belive that creatures in bloodborne must be strong than grimms . Evenmore when she completed the game .

This fic has been an interesting premise, I am not as well versed with Bloodborne but I do know Lovecraft and RWBY well enough (at least the first four volumes). I have always been of the opinion that Cinder being much more deep and nuanced character from the early volumes, and I am pretty unamused at how RT is handling RWBY's plot and characters (in my opinion).

Overall, it is a pretty good read but there are some concerns that I have regarding the direction you have taken with how this story has progressed:

I know you have made mention to it that post Volume 1 will be much darker and more serious, but I can't help but still think that the story is a little TOO lacking in grimdark, especially concerning the Good Hunter, Ella's personality.

You have mentioned time and again that Ella has gone through the Lovecraftian Hell that is Yharnam - but other than the early chapters, I reckon as an Ex-hunter, Ella is far too...upbeat, sociable, outgoing and sane.

At times as I just can't really imagine Ella to be a battle-worn Hunter with how upbeat her personality is, her inclination to joking around and talking so loud and lively. You made mention that she still thinks in a paranoid manner, but sometimes those traumatic stress are very deeply ingrained or even permanent, and would result in pretty subconscious idiosyncratic behaviour that people around the person suffering from ptsd would notice. The timeskip is way too short for any form of ptsd recovery, bit it almost look like Ella never had any trauma other than her nightmares.

You probably have seen this concern but I really DO hope that you have a very clear direction with your decision. Despite your assurances I still question your decision to give Cinder and Ella such...mundane parents. Considering the themes I picked up on Bloodborne and post Volume 3 RWBY, I would have expected SOME degree of loss or coping. This "best case/good end" scenario risks removing a lot of impact from your fic.

To me it really clashes with your choice of crossover, and even Cinder as a character. Unless you are planning a huge diversion from canon Cinder and she is somehow much more mellow, I think it might be a little hard to find it believable that she became as extreme as she is in Canon RWBY. Assuming you are sticking somewhat to canon, I just can't see any reason for her to associate with Salem when she still has a family that is in a way keeping her grounded.

To me, it would have been more impactful if perhaps their mother died not long after she told Cinder "its better to be weak than to die", probably as a result of Cinder not being strong enough to protect their mother from either grim, white fang, bandits or whatever it may be (thus forming the conclusion that her mother lied to her).

It would be a better and more believable trigger that would cement her power-hunger in canon - rather than strong words from her still alive mother.

Also, I'm not sure if you are open to suggestions - but I do recommend not including any other of their family members into the story. Like I say, I do not now what you have planned, but IF you were intending to add them on a whim, probably reconsider it imo. (though I reckon it has a bit to do with my skepticism of OCs in any form).

I guess, that is all I have in mind in terms of my thoughts on what you have written. I'm still looking forward to what you have planned out for this.

On a funny side note, I initially thought Ella was the Summer maiden lol.

Good to see this again, looking forward to how things shape up now that Ella's back at Beacon in time for the big events of the vol 1 finale.

The dangerous Semblances remind me of one Ocs how has a grim like semblance and other has shifting beast semblance .plus of hero Acadamy Dark Quirks I came up with .

actually took me a while to figure out the girls identity, I was under the assumption that the character was cannon to the RWBY story and believed she was Melanie Malachite who only remembered the "ela" part of her name and believed her name was "Ella" seeing as you never told us Ella's eye colour til now. Now that I know who her sister is I can also understand why you named her "Ella" a funny play on words.

I just found this story. It looks interesting and I liked how the Bloodborne end went. I am feeling hints of a Ruby copy or twin so doubles would be interesting to interact through.

Interesting exposition on Cinder's probable motivation to acquire power. It may just be the beginning but still interesting. Wonder what leverage did Salem have to corrupt Cinder from acquiring power to get Ella back to just doing so for it's own sake and losing her humanity.

Make sense that Eileen and Raven would know each other. Birds of the same feather and all. :)

The story doesn’t have to go dark. I believe this story should be about her recovery from the traumas she clearly suffered from her time in Yharnam and recovering her past. It could get darker RWBY naturally will as a story but it doesn’t have be grimdark.
