I like your story, it's very original, well-written and intriguing. I love your Link. But I really dislike Zelda: the narrator always portrays her as a gentle soul, a selfless person but she's extremely annoying. I can't accept that she NEVER apologised for breaking up with Link in such a cruel manner.

After the misunderstanding between her and Link because of Braun, she's sad about herself... But she had seen him expressionless in his bed and never really made sure he was okay. She's the one who decided Link would be her king because he's the best choice, not because she loves him, respects him the way the inhabitants of Hyrule love and respect him. She doesn't understand him at all. He deserves to be king, and makes huges sacrifices for her. He died for her. He has no memories of his past, his friends, his family... for her! He accepts his new life, one he wasn't born for, for her. What did she sacrifice for him?

She always says "if I didn't... I wouldn't have married you", which is a bit manipulative. It's not quite the same than saying, "I'm here because I love you".

She's never reassuring but judgmental, harsh, critical and Link comes across as a clueless, almost stupid boy. It's like, for her, he's not the boy who solved 100 riddles in the Sanctuaries or defeated monster after monster his entire life. I'm sorry but she's always giving mixed signals just like when Link assumed he would be king after the wedding and she's like "mmh... stupid Link... I'm not sure, I haven't decided yet!" while the plot from the beginning is about marrying him for him to become king! It's no wonder Links thinks he's stupid when Zelda acts like that.

And then, when Link says he doesn't want to be king, she juste decides the wedding is off as well (ok she's sick but still). Their sex life is also awful... and really, it's not Link's fault.

I really hope the story is not about Link becoming a good king to finally deserve Zelda's love... as if he needed to change, as if he wasn't already a good person.

I really like your story. I guess this is why I feel so protective towards Link.

I feel so many anxiety in this chapter, poor Link, really, the first day after your own wedding is weird, now with him, the first day after all of that and take up in a new room... I can imagine all the confucion, the odd feelings, the scare for the future,the reponsabilities, the kingdom and maybe parenthood... Hope he could relax in Hateno and start acting with normality.

It's incredible how believably awkward you make link act. You write character development so well.

I lover it. I readied the first story, now the sequel. Are you going to continue this amazing story? Would be a shame to leave it unfinished.

When will there be an update?

You know, the difference between being a Crowned Prince and a King is whether a Queen is the ruler or not. If the Queen is the ruler, then her husband is called the Crowned Prince. If there is a King, then his Queen is not the ruler. In a monarchy there is always a single sovereign ruler. A King’s Queen is, as far as her authority goes, a Crowned Princess if one was to grant the titles of King and Queen equal weight, which they traditionally do not have.
The title of King is higher than the title of Queen. That is why the title of Crowned Prince even exists.

She didn’t want to force him to do something he didn’t want to do, and yet she decided to hold their marriage hostage in order to force his hand. Classy.

Nice wedding. A shame there isn't a next chapter. Be waiting for the honeymoon update then.
