This is - honestly I've lost count on how many times I've read this one shot. After about 10 years, I still read this every now and then and reminisce about the good ol' years of awesome InuYasha fanfic. I still love this. I loved it when I first read it 10 years ago, when I was 11 and I still love this when I'm 21. It hits all the right emotions in me, and I can't help but read this every now and then.

One thing that does disturb me - or no... make me a little sad. Is this line: "She never met me while she was traveling between worlds. That is another odd thought."

It's as if to say that after all Inuyasha's waiting... all 400 years, he still might not even see his Kagome. Like, maybe he died right before he got to see her again. And that is so heartbreaking. I hope that wasn't what you were implying... because I really want Inuyasha to be happy (at least in your fic's cannon).

Anyway, really great writing. I miss fanfics like these.

Augh. If you have the time to, and have not yet, read Phoenix Blade; Time Lapse (or something to that effect). It is not only wicked funny (uh...to me) and chock full of excellent smut, it details quite thoroughly the anguish (oh) felt by Inuyasha and Kagome regarding Puppy vs. Mature, OLD Inuyasha & Kagome. I sincerely hope that made sense, but I'm too tired/stubborn to care/check for errors. Keep writing!
