Ooooh, I do hope you continue this. Midna doesn't get enough stories, and I hope to see both these characters grow through interacting with each other. Mostly fighting, I see in the future, because Louise and Midna have a whole bunch of pride each, and that's gonna be fun... and it'll make the few things they do agree on even better.

Wait a minute... You wrote this story?! I read this right when it was fresh! That's amazing! What a coincidence! I really liked this story. Anyways, I should really review, shouldn't I? First off, there's not much I can say. There is only one chapter and all I got right now on my mind is that I love it. Midna starts off in game like Louise. Bossy and mean. This is the perfect chance to see how they’d react to one another. Link is awesome, but I understand how bland it would be to keep using the same character. So good on you for changing things up.

I'm a little concerned about what we'll be doing in this world considering the Twilight Realm is connected more to hyrule. Maybe Hyrule is in this, but it's an ancient kingdom the elves used to have. Perhaps the elven word for their people is Hylian? Maybe Brimir learned magic in some way, despite being human, and overthrew the kingdom of Hyrule? That'd be cool. I've read a story once called the Ranger of the North or something, you can easily find it by going to the x-overs and Familiar of Zero section (also it's M-rated so fair warning), that said the elves had an ancient connection to their ancestors, the hylians. The Germanians were connected to the Gerudo as well. Nothing was done with it so far, other than being addressed by some old woman who only knew this, but the main character obtained a Zelda item from an elder geurdo at some later date. I loved this aspect and wished it would appear in another fanfiction. I don't know if you should do it unless you planned for it already. I won't try to persuade you or dissuade you from trying it, but keep it vague so readers can be more mystified and impressed with the reveal.

I do hope Lousie does take more of a role in this, she's a terrible supporting character and needs the plot to focus on her, not Saito. Saito steals it when Louise needs it because she's the one we must feel for. Saito has no history revealed about him. Louise does. It’s called Familiar of Zero, but the Familiar seems to take a major role despite having nothing about him being appealing. Midna is, again awesome choice, so she obviously will drag Louise wherever she wants. This is quite a game changer, seeing how in the anime Louise did this. So, I hope you don’t keep the series centered on the academy forever. Twilight Princess had us look all over Hyule. I imagine that’s what will be done in Halkeginia, but due to all the different creatures and new areas, it will be a completely different adventure. That’s all I can really say. I tried reaching for other things, but I couldn’t due to the lack of material. What you have right now is good. Great grammar, perfect capturing of the characters, and you started off having things not go good for Louise. At least to her. This is gonna be amazing.

This is pretty cool. If you need any help come to me, I've actually been trying to come up with a Familiar of Zero story for awhile but I haven't come up with anything that sticks.

A good setup you have here and will keep an eye on this.

First off, some events will be different with Midna being the familiar and the interaction between her and Louise in the future will be funny to see. Maybe with the runes people, besides her, will be able to see her?
