I love this story so much I’ve read it five times already. I especially loved the interactions the characters have with each other especially the ones between Yondu and the kids, Yondu and Kraglein, and Yondu and Stakar. I’m really glad that Yondu decided to stand his ground with the Raveners this time and actually explain himself this time to Stakar. I also love how you also included Stakar’s point of view of the events and his understandable confusion to the rather sudden changes Yondu’s gone through. It also a nice change of pace seeing Yondu through Stakar’s eyes because we’re so used to seeing Yondu as the father figure to Peter (and his siblings in this fic) that you sometimes forget that Yondu himself is also someone else’s son.

There was a point where they'd blink and I was “oh shit! THEY CAN DO THAT TOO? WHAT'S THE MEANING"; I was so excited with... everything? Lol

And so fucking mad, too. So. Fucking. Mad. And what angered me the most was that I could understand the motives.
It's so easy if we could just say “oh they are the villain! They Are The True Evil!"; it'd be... It's easy, obviously, just not... fulfilling? I don't know.

And Jesus fucking, what was that ending? I'm not sure I'm alive anymore. Skjdndndns

I'm at the plot twist and it's killing me! Please, please finish!

This is perhaps my third time reading this story and I am still loving it! This is one of the best Guardians of the Galaxy stories I have ever had the honor of reading.

I absolutely adore this story and await each update eagerly!

This story hits so many right notes. Time travel do over going off the rails in god and bad ways.

And that whole bit of being in time for the Jotun boy, Einar - not even just saving him from Ego, but saving him period. That whole orphan factor makes me wonder how often things like that happen - and does Ego know?

This is... just gathering my thoughts? Not actual questions, mind.
-Anyone picked up yet that all the kids seem to be orphans so far? Yeah, it was in Ego's pitch to Yondo in the outset - but anyone else notice? I'm pretty sure Ego did the same for all his host mothers as he did for Meridith. And the timing for Pete, right when his mother dies. . . suspicious
-I always wondered bout Peter's 'suitability' for channeling 'The Light'. In Vol 1 he shows unusual resiliance to vacuum helping Gammora outside of Nowhere, so evidence of his genes. But he needed the other Guardians to help with the Infinity Stone, admittedly a probable greater power. Still, did handling the Stone make him suitable (and thus unsuitable until that point?)
-Or is it an age thing? All Ego's other children were probably the equivalent of Pete's age when he left Earth. Was Ego's failing his impatence, that his children were not mature enough? Was Pete just old enough. (I can't decide if this make things more or less horrifying in terms of Ego's actions.)
-Or that Earth has hosted 2.5~ Infinity Stones( Tesseratct, Eye of Agomoto, sealed gate way to the Ether ) while Ego and Pete were there? Quite a stretch that this would make Peter suitable for The Light. (Personal unlikely headcanon is that the Infinty Stones were beings like Ego from much further back, that chose to condense rather than expand. Irrelevant)
-Yondu's Ravagers in Vol. 1 siding with the Nova Corp . . . yeah Yondu has a grudge against the Kree so that makes sense - to a point. It may no longer be fresh in Yondu's mind (less than a year between Vol1 & 2 plus however long Yondu's been back, but I doubt his focus on the kids would allow it.) Yet that half-altruism, does it occur to Yondu or anyone to pass this on to other governements - this Monster Planet devouring children? Perhaps after all the kids are picked up? Especially if the galaxy at large picks up on the fact that suddenly Ravagers are nabbing random kids.
-The blood money advance, didn't Yondu accept it for the sake of the kids upkeep? I would not be at all surprised if he kept if for His bunch of kids.
-More relevant to the movies than this story. How connected is Ego to his offspring? He's maintaining a connection to all those flowers for the Expansion (else they'd be useless if they weren't connected somehow). Or is he connected via how he kills the mothers - and that's how he knows when to get the kids.

- The Power that resurrected Yondu is still a mystery. Which makes me feel sorry for Yondu already, since in all likeliness Pete won't remember a thing, and Yondu will have just another grieving youngster on his hands. Even worse since I think Yondu's pushed up the timing, his mom will still be alive when Yondu gets there. Yondu probably hasn't thought of any of that. It'd be great if Peter did remember, but the plausibility would be stretched. And this story does balances emotional angst with plot progress so well, that a Pete who remembers might skew that balance towards what passes as Fluffy Ravager Family Feels, rather than truer poignancy of uncertainty-regret-determination-hope that the characters are storming through so delightfully. Or those fluffy feels mights offset the emotions for the next sucker punch. Eh. Dpeends on who or what that Power was in Ch 1.

-Can't forget how easily Ego destroyed the Soverign. Him starting to go after isolated Ravagers - ouch.

-Hmm splinter off some of the nastier Ravagers at this point, can't just be the ones you showed us last chapter. And after a little time with brats throwing fits, I wonder if other's wont reconsider this mission. . .

-Would really screw the Earth over if they end up duking things out with Ego there...
