Don't worry - if I'd felt able to continue, Robert probs would've just married some Southern lady, maybe from the Stormlands or the Reach, or just not remarried at all - he's got a son and a daughter (as far as the law's concerned) - he wouldn't want to remarry.

Will this lead to Robert marrying again? I feel like some families will smell blood in the water and circle around for him to pick a new queen. I think Margaery would be much too young at the moment, but I’m sure Olenna has a Redwyne niece or two to push at him. Even Tywin may offer up another Lannister cousin with sharp reminders of the Crown’s dependence on the Rock’s gold.

Let me start with how much I love your pen name.
Great chapter, considering how awful Kings Landing was described it was something George RR Martin should've included. Yay no Cersei and Joffery! Poor whoever good ol'King Bobby will marry.
Just one bit of advice, ffn has a rule against swearing in titles and summaries. I'd really hate for such a masterpiece to be deleted as there's hardly any stories where Lysa ends up happy.

I just realized it's almost been a year since you updated are you still with us?

I only just discovered this story today, it's very good and a happy Lysa is an underused trope. The exploring of how she didn't let bitterness overtake her is refreshing and inspiring. "My father married me to an old man to make me miserable? I'll show him. Jon, you hate my father too? Even better!" Having three young, healthy children has grounded her and strengthened her relationship to Jon, and they are slowly building a strong marriage, as her uncle Brynden "the Blackfish" has found out. This Lysa is hopefully far more cynical and distrusting of Petyr when he reappears as Master of Coin. I want her to be far more involved in the Game than in canon so that she can protect Jon and her children; King Bobby B, not so much. Take your time in writing, and look forward to the next update.
