Reviews for Claustrophilia
theDsacrifice chapter 1 . 8/11/2019
This is a deeply disturbing story - so much scarier than most of what happens on Supernatural. Good job!

I am so freaking happy that i found your profile. It's fangirl heaven. This story was amazing and I'm sure the rest of your works are as well. I'll soon find out for sure though ;))

That was scary goodness. Especially in a strange hotel room in the dark! I'm so glad you're back:)
JazzyIrish chapter 1 . 6/10/2017
This story was beyond phenomenal! I was absolutely riveted from the very first sentence. I do love how you bring these characters so true to what we know. Poor Dean - I know that darkness because I've been to Carlsbad Cavern where they do that demonstration of turning off all lights - and it is scary as hell! So it's no wonder that it felt like hell to Dean. The images of him, injured and terrified, muttering, singing and trying not to go crazy while he felt the presence around him - well, just visceral!

I could feel Sam's desperation - digging into the earth with his hands, shovel, and other equipment before thinking like the hunter he is to try to figure out the hunt logically. And his small question asking Dean if that was what hell was like - chipped my heart.

I had to look up your title as I was not familiar with the meaning of claustrophilia. Then I tipped my hat to you as I read the last paragraph of the story. So very clever - you know how much I love your titles!

Thanks for sharing this wonderful story with us. I'm looking forward to the summer reading. I'm glad you're still hanging in there with the show - many are not. Until next time...

Yea for summer and your season break stories! Thanks for sharing another good yarn about brothers finding each other in the dark, literal and metaphysical. :)
Sylwinka1991 chapter 1 . 5/30/2017
I'm glad that you back to summer stories!
Geez I had getting a claustrophobia when I read this. I don't like small and dark places, poor Dean. And I felt sorry for him that he reminded himself a Hell and started going crazy. Glad that Sam came for him on right time.

I look forward to hiatus every year…. thank you for this addition!
LittleLurker chapter 1 . 5/29/2017
Thank you for summer reading! As always you created another beautiful story. I loved every little bit of it, especially the way how you alternated their reactions to being separated (once again) without knowing much of anything about the other.
And I really, really enjoyed the little nod to Dean's claustrophobia when it turned out "where they were having this comversation" and - again as usual - your last line is the icing on this very, very delicious cake. Cheers and thank you! D.
Visionairy chapter 1 . 5/27/2017
Well Happy Hellatus to you! So excited to see you posting again! And this was a great story! Loved their individual experiences, and the way Sam reached out to Dean when he found him. (And who knew Sam could drive a bulldozer.) :D It really does make my day when I can read a new story from you. Thank you so much for posting!
ziggy.uk chapter 1 . 5/27/2017
Great fic, creepy and chilling, especially for Dean with no idea where he was and with the presence stopping him from evening using light to find out what his surroundings were. Of course Sam would find him, changing tack and thinking of caves and knowing what cleansing ritual to use. Loved the banter and how you ended this, could imagine Dean sitting in the wardrobe needing to ground himself to walls but what finally made him move from there was putting a drunk Sam to bed.
You always make the season to season hiatus go faster with your summer posting of fics :)

awesome story! I really enjoyed this!
Freya922 chapter 1 . 5/27/2017
What a concept, and so chillingly executed. I was entirely creeped out by that dark, empty space inhabited only by corpses and a malevolent spirit. Setting the tale soon post-Hell was perfect.
Guest chapter 1 . 5/23/2017
But the hungry land only offered him silence...

Desperate despair
