This fic makes me incredibly angsty. I dont like it. I love this fic though. Its pretty great so far. I dont really like how little harry shows in the way of reciprocating, it would be nice if we coupd see him thinking about it more at least.
I've only read to halfway through the sixth book so thats as far as my specific knowledge goes but I do know the general idea of the secomd half of the sixth book and the gist of the seventh. I know that draco goes through something of a redemption at the end I think, but it he and hermione come anywhere close to being a thing in this fic I will die so many times on the inside, in so many ways.
Besides that this is really good. Your transitions are very unclear. You just start a new paragraph and its totally disorienting. Adding a line break of some kind would be extremely helpful.

I was loving it (the slow burn, the Malfoy Hermione friendship) up until the point where Hermione apologised to Harry...for having plans on HER birthday. She is in no way in the wrong for accepting a dinner invitation, and Harry getting so angry at her and Ron calling her a bitch for it is so confusing. Also Harry being like, fuck you for not waiting around for me to acknowledge your birthday, bugs me so much. But I guess thats the issue, it bugs me but if it doesn't bug you then thats good because we all need to write what we love. All of it before then was aces though, and I'm going to assume that the rest will be too but I personally can't read about toxic relationships.
