Ah! Chaos fic! I don't check here often (I don't check any fic much these days), but sometimes I still stop by the Chaos area just because I loved it so darn much.

And look! New fic!

Of course, it's a somewhat sad fic, but still! My excitement is a bit hard to contain.

I like this one a lot, and I like the instances you picked. Carson and Fay are excellent, and Michael's increasing struggle with each one just makes so much sense given his character. And I thought the ending was quite apt, because that's sort of how Michael is. He just keeps at it, I imagine. As long as he has someone to fight for, he'll do the best he can.
