Absolutely loved it! I am not usually a fond of shorter multi-chapter fics, but the non-linear style had me hooked. It did not feel clunky and was very engaging! The story itself was adorable and well written. The sequence of chapters, given that the order was jumbled timewise, was well thought out so that there was a build up of anticipation. Awesome!

This was SO GOOD. I'm not sure I'm a fan of such disjointed time jumps but I absolutely loved the story itself. Your writing was captivating and characters adorable. I fell in love with Simon and Stella. And the way you portrayed the love btwn Snape and Hermione felt so real. Really great job.

They are both super intelligent and would be hypervigilant from the war and so many years of secrecy. So this chapter is exactly how I see them in this situation, getting as ready as possible then freaking out and spending the energy on over preparing because what else are you supposed to do while you wait? I'm glad Flitwick got the explanation after his shock earlier with Severus.

They should have known, but her not wanting to admit to their teenage son they had so thoroughly broken the rules makes sense. You don't want your kids knowing what you got away with. What if their son goes and convinces some Hufflepuff he's her soulmate and they end up grandparents before he's even done with school?

Draco's letter made me smile too.

Frankly, I'm surprised they made it as long as they did.

This is freaking me out a little. I was joking at the beginning of this about mind beaming you ideas to write, but I am in the middle of coming up with a silly 'never have I ever' one shot. I was literally brainstorming ideas while I fell asleep last night. To be fair, I got (stole) the idea from turtlewexler's A Light in the Fog - but now I feel like I precognitively stole it from you. Or maybe it's just a HP trope like memory loss and the marriage law? Or maybe we just love getting these two drunk together?
